    Location: Leeds and Surrounding Areas We are looking for an experienced Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join a new and growing domestic plumbing and heating business based in Leeds. About the Role This is a hands-on senior engineering position covering domestic plumbing and heating work across the Leeds area. You will be responsible for a range of repairs, installations and diagnostics, including: General plumbing repairs and leak detectionBoiler servicing, breakdowns and installationsBathroom installationsFull system fault-finding and problem solving The role will begin as a front-line engineering position but will naturally progress into a managerial role as the company expands. Working Hours Monday to Friday, 08:00 16:00 (37.5 hours per week) Key Duties TIG welding of white-metal alloy (experience with this material is highly beneficial) Grit blasting and glass bead blasting of components Foundry processes, using molten metal to cast products De-burring, cleaning, and polishing of parts to achieve high-quality finishes Bench fitting to repair defects and ensure precise surface finishes Cleaning and packaging of finished components prior to dispatch Creating delivery notes using the ERP system and printing labels (basic computer literacy required) Etching part numbers onto products for identification and traceability Accepting deliveries and assisting with goods-in processes Key Requirements Proven experience in TIG welding (experience with white-metal alloys an advantage) Comfortable with manual, hands-on production and finishing processes Good understanding of workshop safety, materials handling, and quality control Capable of reading and following work instructions accurately Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a small team Basic familiarity with computers or ERP systems Read Less
