The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out vehicle servicing, diagnostics, repairs and MOT-related work to ensure all vehicles meet safety, legal and retail standards. You will play a key role in maintaining workshop efficiency, customer satisfaction and the high standards expected by the business. Key Responsibilities Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair work to a high standard. Diagnose faults accurately using appropriate diagnostic equipment and methods. Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards. Undertake MOT testing and MOT preparation work in line with DVSA requirements. Carry out a variety of mechanical repairs including: Cambelt replacements Clutch replacements Engine diagnostics and repairs Identify additional repair requirements and communicate findings effectively. Maintain accurate job records and workshop documentation. Work closely with management and colleagues to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines. Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements. Maintain tools, equipment and working areas in a clean and organised condition. Follow company policies and procedures at all times. Candidate Requirements NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent). Current MOT Licence. Qualified MOT Tester with up-to-date training. Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
