Key AccountabilitiesEnsure the site is run in a safe and efficient manner that reflects the high standards that Joseph Gallagher Ltd are renowned for.Ensure the commercial performance of the contract is maximisedProduce procurement schedules and liaise with the procurement department to ensure sites have adequate resources to complete the tasksContinually forecasting, keeping the team informed of forecasts and changes and managing the scope meticulously, so knowing the costs for unplanned construction work or resources and keeping that set-aside.Reporting Risk and Opportunities to the senior management team.Deliver the work to the specified quality without defects. Ensure production and implementation of Project Plans, RAMS, ITP’s and waste management plans, in line with Company proceduresEnsure detailed site diaries/records are completed. Maintain commercial tension to drive out cost and challenge the status quoJob Skills, Experience and QualificationsExperience of Cofferdams, Backfill, Clean Water pipework installation and Heavy CivilsA broad civil background would be an advantage.Proficient in NEC contracts, contract and change managementExperienced in Design Management Programme & Risk Management, Production of CVR, incl cost control, forecasting and value assessmentDegree/HNC in Civil Engineering, or equivalentSMSTSAbility to challenge designs and resolve problems to conclusionAbility to manage and deliver a successful project with minimal guidance.Degree qualified as a minimum.Company Background
