    Stock Control Supervisor

    As a Stock Control Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by maintaining accurate stock levels and supporting the team.

    We are looking for applicants who have:Strong analytical skills with the ability to query and interpret data.Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.Proficiency in commonly used software such as MS Office.Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.Strong product knowledge and an understanding of stock control processes.Ability to build and support a high-performing team.Excellent communication and 'people skills' Eligibility to live and work in the UK.Responsibilities of the role:Verify the accuracy of incoming deliveries, ensuring records match physical stock, and report any discrepancies.Ensure all products are correctly coded, labeled, and stored in the appropriate locations.Implement stock rotation procedures to minimize loss due to short-dated items.Quarantine non-conforming products for investigation and further action.Conduct regular stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy.Investigate discrepancies, including loss, damage, or theft of stock.Train employees to ensure compliance with warehouse procedures and Health & Safety guidelines.Investigate workplace accidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Our benefits:28 days paid annual leave (including Bank Holidays), increasing to 33 days with length of serviceAccess to hundreds of exclusive discounts and savings through our JJ family portalProfit-Share schemeFree support with personal legal, medical, health and wellbeing issuesA free telephone counselling serviceCycle to work scheme Read Less

    Cashier/Sales Assistant

    We're looking for a friendly, confident communicator to join our Sales team. Do you have a sale driven attitude and are committed to delivering excellence? Then this could be the role for you.

    Candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude and enjoy meeting new people. You will happily interact with customers face-to-face daily to provide the first-class service we are well known for.

    The perfect candidate will maintain excellent customer service, whilst processing sales and inputting orders into our system.

    This is a part-time position requiring 16 hours per week.

    Salary: £25, pro rata per annum

    Responsibilities of the role:Input orders into the system for collection and deliveryIdentify sales opportunities to grow existing customer accountsGenerate sales through contact with prospective customersRespond efficiently to queries with appropriate information on products and servicesManage designated accountsInteract with customers and process sales quickly, accurately and efficientlyInitiate sales leads in order to promote product sales and increase annual turnover, in line with sales targetsGenerate sales through contact with prospective customers, acting as a sales representative when required
