Position Overview: We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse & Stockroom Supervisor to join our Partner Store in Regent Street on a full-time basis. This role will be responsible for leading and managing all stockroom and warehouse operations and staff, ensuring the efficient, accurate and timely flow of merchandise from delivery through to the shop floor. This role is responsible for maintaining exceptional stock standards, supporting seamless store operations and upholding the brand’s premium service levels through strong organisation, leadership and attention to detail.This position ensures that inventory is handled with care, presented to the highest standards, and made readily available to support sales performance, while minimising loss and maintaining full compliance with company procedures.Further, to support the efficient operation of the company’s warehouse and retail stores by ensuring timely, accurate and safe movement of stock between locations.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Warehouse OperationsMaintain accurate stock levels across all SKUs (sizes, colours and collections).Receive, check, scan and accurately book in stock deliveries using the company’s stock management system, Sitoo.Pick, pack and prepare stock for inter-store transfers and customer orders as required.Stack, store and organise stock safely and efficiently, ensuring correct rotation and clear labelling.Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and health & safety within the warehouse.Assist with regular stock counts and support stocktakes, investigations and reconciliations.Ensure proper handling of high-value items.Assist with returns of faulty or incorrectly delivered stock.Store SupportEnsure smooth deliveries of stock to stores and assist with unloading, placement or back-of-house organisation as required.Supervise delivery intake and verify shipments against orders.Efficiently manage teams and ensure timely productivity.Support store teams during busy periods with stock movement or operational tasks.Communicate effectively with store managers regarding deliveries, shortages or discrepancies.Coordinate with the Merchandiser, as well as Warehouse/Stockroom Manager, to ensure complete smooth flow of all transfers/deliveries and movement of goods.Stockroom Standards, Store Support & ReplenishmentMaintain a clean, structured and visually organised stockroom.Implement premium brand standards and consistency.Optimise layouts for efficient picking and replenishment, ensuring teams are all to same standard.Ensure safe storage of products (temperature, spacing etc).Support and ensure fast and accurate replenishment to the shop floor.Work closely with teams and Sales Assistants to locate items quickly and support customer requests.Work closely with store management to support and prioritise shop floor needs.Team Leadership & TrainingSupervise and motivate stockroom staff.Manage schedules and workload allocation, alongside Warehouse/Stockroom Manager.Conduct performance reviews and strong coaching.Train team on:Stock Handling ProceduresBrand StandardsHealth & SafetySystems & ReportingConsistently forecast and plan ahead.Analyse reports on: stock levels, sell-through rates and slow-moving items.Health, Safety & Compliance Follow all Health & Safety policies, including manual handling, lone working and vehicle safety procedures.Use appropriate lifting techniques and equipment to minimize risk of injury.Report accidents, near misses or unsafe practices in line with company procedures.Comply with all company policies, including data protection, loss prevention and stock security.General DutiesUndertake any other duties reasonably requested to support the effective running of the business.Be flexible in approach to work, including supporting different sites and adapting to operational policies.Skills and Experience: Experience in a warehouse, stockroom or logistics role.Able to carry out manual handling tasks safely, including lifting and moving items as required for the role.Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock.Good time management and reliability.Effective workload planning with strong ability to develop, lead and train a team.Management experience is desirable.Experience in retail warehousing or fashion/lifestyle retail is desirable.Familiarity with stock management or EPOS systems is desirable.Additional Information:This is a full time role, working 40 hours per week.Full flexibility required, including occasional anti-social working hours, as needed by the business.Please note that the successful applicants will be employed directly by “The Highlands, Regent Street LTD” in their store which trades as Barbour located on Regent Street and Duke Street.
