Workplace: London White City. Expectation is 1-2 days in the office. ITV Studios is a leading global creator, producer and distributor of TV content. Studios Technology enables the creation, management and distribution of that content through scalable production workflows across cloud, data, AI, media asset management and post-production tooling, working closely with production, commercial and creative teams worldwide.The roleReporting to the Head of Product, the Product Manager for Data and AI will own the AI and data strategy, operating model and roadmap for ITV Studios. The role will take work through the production lifecycle from ideation to exploitation, identifying AI and data use cases and finding and driving solution delivery and rollout. The role will own the end to end process for AI adoption, set governance and guardrails for responsible adoption, and lead change, vendor management and cost control across Studios globally.The extent of your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Own the AI and Data product strategy and roadmap for ITV Studios, including clear outcomes and KPIs.Own and operate the end-to-end AI and Data adoption operating model and processes, including intake, triage, prioritisation, trialing, investment case development, development, rollout and ongoing service design and ownership.Work with all stakeholders involved in the process including Legal, Cyber and technology to change and improve the operating model and process.Identify emerging opportunities, shape proofs of value, and operationalise successful pilots into supported, scalable products.Oversee the development of modern AI products (GenAI and agentic), championing engineering best practice across reliability, security, testing/QA and observability.Define and maintain the Studios AI tool catalogue, aligned to stages of the TV production lifecycle, including approved tools, intended use, constraints, support model, and lifecycle management (onboard/retire).Track and showcase the value of AI Tooling. Work with business stakeholders to redesign processes enabled by AI, ensuring solutions deliver measurable improvements to productivity - not just “overlaying AI on existing ways of working.”Oversee adoption and business change, including communications, training, champion networks, rollout plans, feedback loops, and value-realisation reporting.Own service cost management for AI products, including budgeting, consumption optimisation, unit-cost visibility (where possible), and spend governance aligned to business value.Manage AI vendors and third parties, including selection, due diligence and contract management Manage key risks across security, privacy, data protection, IP, and regulatory compliance - ensuring controls are embedded into product design, delivery, and operations.Stay current on AI advances and promote AI literacy, providing guidance, training, and best practice to enable responsible innovation across teams.Skill and Knowledge required:
Strong understanding of Generative and Agentic AI conceptsExperience in Media/Entertainment, including a working understanding of end-to-end television production workflows and how studios operate day-to-day.Proven capability to set a clear product vision, strategy and roadmap (GenAI and agentic), with measurable outcomes, KPIs and value realisation.Familiarity with enterprise governance and assurance processes and artefacts, producing documentation suitable for Architecture, Legal, Cyber, Data Privacy and Regulatory review.Familiarity with the principles of business process redesignAn understanding of modern AI product engineering principles including reuse, reliability, security, and observability.
