    As a Pensions Administration Manager at Isio, you will lead a team of pensions administrators to deliver exceptional service to clients and scheme members. You will ensure accurate and timely processing of pension scheme tasks,pliance with regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement processes. This role is pivotal in maintaining Isio's reputation as a trusted partner in pensions administration and driving operational excellence, whilst supporting your team in their professional development journey with Isio.

    This role is based in our Manchester office with a hybrid workstyle.

    What does the role entail?
    Manage, mentor, coach and motivate a team of pensions administrators, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance. You will conduct regular performance reviews, identifying training needs, and support professional development. Monitoring the performance of the team against agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and taking steps to maintain high levels of service as required. Monitoring and managing team workloads to ensure distribution aligns with team capacity and client priorities. You will be the key contact for clients and trustees, building strong relationships, and for scheme members, acting as a point of contact to address any concerns. You may also be involved in managing the delivery of routine project work (such as annual pension increase exercises) as well as ad hoc projects (such as GMP reconciliations/equalisation) including liaison with Isio's wider specialist teams and/or our project support team, as well as external third parties, as necessary. Supporting the transition and implementation of new schemes into your team. Overseeing the accurate delivery of high-quality work by the team. Reviewing and presenting reports to Clients and Trustees and Reviewing calculations for members to ensure accuracy.
    What we're looking for
    Strong experience of working on DB and DC pension schemes (DB experience is essential for the role). The ideal candidate is expected to have experience working as a pensions administration manager (or extensive experience as a senior pensions administrator who deputises for the team manager). Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills. Experience of using Microsoft Office, Word and Excel applications. Strong numerical skills. Excellent client-facing and problem solving abilities. Experience of carrying out and checking all aspects of pensions administration tasks, includingplex manual pension calculations. Ability to managepeting priorities in a fast-paced environment Proven track record of motivating a team to deliver high quality output within SLAs.

    Contribute to the successful deliveryof projects to support the Operational Solutions (OS) team revenue targets. Perform a client-facing role with some of the largest and mostplex DB and DC schemes, and insurers. Engage directly with pension providers, insurers and public service schemes in the UK.     What does the role entail?
    Aid in the delivery of a structured training programme covering all core areas of Pensions Administration, with a focus on defined benefit schemes. Assist in the delivery of hands-on workshops, simulations, and role-playing exercises to build practical skills. Performance manage, mentor and motivate a team of pension trainee administrators, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance. You will conduct regular performance reviews, identifying skills gaps, training needs, and develop tailored individual development plans. Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to ensure trainees meetpetency milestones and behavioural traits. Work closely with Admin Training Academy Manager and the Operation Managers (as required) to ensure training aligns with business needs. Monitor the performance of the trainees assigned to you against agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and take steps to maintain high levels of service as required. You will carry out quality checks to ensure trainees meet Isio's service standards before they progress to the wider Admin teams.
    What we're looking for
    An experienced senior pensions administration, or a very strong pensions administrator looking to take the next step in their career. Experience and knowledge of administering DB and DC pension schemes (DB experience is essential for the role). Passion for training, coaching, mentoring and/or developing more junior members of the team. Proven track record of performance management including setting objectives, and providing constructive feedback. Ability to perform and check all aspects of pensions administration tasks, includingplex manual pension calculations. Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills.
