A busy and environmentally focused recycling company is looking for reliable Recycling Operatives to join their team. Youll be collecting recyclable cardboard from commercial clients across the South and returning to the yard to assist in preparing materials for processing. This is a hands-on, physical role that combines driving with yard work not a parcel delivery role. Key Responsibilities for Recycling Operatives: Safely operate a 3.5T van to collect cardboard recycling from business customers Complete multiple daily collections across the South of England Return materials to the Chiseldon yard for sorting, baling and wrapping Use machinery on-site to prepare recyclables for transport Work closely with a small, friendly team to meet daily targets Maintain a clean and professional company vehicle Follow health & safety procedures and company policies at all times Requirements for Recycling Operatives: Full UK driving licence essential Must have your own transport to get to the site Must be willing and confident to drive a 3.5T van Minimum 1 year of van driving experience preferred Previous experience in recycling, sorting, baling or wrapping would be beneficial Must be happy with both driving and working in the yard Physically fit and comfortable with manual work Strong work ethic and team-player attitude Good local knowledge of the South West is an advantage Reliable, punctual and professional Hours & Pay for Recycling Operatives: Start time: 08:00 Finish time: 16:00 Pay: £13.00 per hour Monday to Friday no weekend work Location: Chiseldon, near Swindon Long-term opportunity Training provided If you're looking for a steady, full-time role where you can contribute to sustainability efforts and be part of a supportive team, please call 01793 987 470 and ask to speak with Shannon.
