Job Description
We’re looking for an Assistant Commercial Manager for our public sector client based in London or Leeds on an initial 6-month contract paying £450–£470 per day Inside IR35.
This role offers hybrid working, with an expectation to attend the office 2–3 days per week.
The successful candidate must have recent experience managing the end-to-end tender process, with clear examples of delivering procurement activity. You should also be comfortable contributing to commercial strategy writing and have excellent stakeholder management skills.
In this role you will support the delivery of effective procurement and commercial outcomes, working closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and identify the best sourcing approach. You will also help build relationships with key suppliers to support value for money and risk management across the category.
You will work across the full commercial lifecycle, including sourcing activity, analysing data and market insight, and ensuring procurement activity remains compliant with relevant frameworks. While part of a wider team, you will also be expected to manage your own workload and deliver to deadlines.
