About the Role An excellent opportunity has become available for a professional and friendly Receptionist to join a busy manufacturing site in Lifton. As the first point of contact for employees, visitors and external callers, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional front-of-house experience while providing essential administrative support across the site.
This is a varied role, ideal for someone with excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Providing a professional and welcoming reception service for visitors and employees
Answering and directing telephone calls efficiently and confidentially
Managing visitor sign-in procedures and ensuring site protocols are followed
Providing general administrative support including data entry, record keeping and handling post
Preparing site communications, posters and other documents as required
Managing pool and hire vehicles, arranging servicing, safety checks and valeting
Ordering stationery and office supplies while maintaining stock levels within budget
Coordinating maintenance of shared office equipment, including photocopiers
Raising purchase orders using the SAP system
Assisting with monthly team brief preparation and internal communications
Supporting Health & Safety, quality and hygiene standards across the site
Providing reception cover during holidays and absences when required
Undertaking additional administrative duties to support the wider business
What We're Looking For Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Friendly, professional and approachable manner
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to prioritise workload and work independently
Previous reception or administration experience is desirable
Switchboard experience would be advantageous
Experience using SAP is beneficial but not essential
