Role/Position: Spray Machine Operator/Goods out Operator Job Purpose Reporting to the Spray Machine Team Leader, the role is to assist in the running and workload for the semi-automatic spray machine. The role will include assisting the team leader withthe setting up the machine, daily machine operating and any cleaning and maintenance functions to be carried out. It is a key role in terms of delivering volume quality sprayed products. Additional duties will relate to working in the bench area to assist in the assembling of some unitary and also Goods-Out department quality checking finished components, wrapping and palletising. Kay Responsibilities Spray Machine In line with the specification of the paint product provided, assist the team leader to the set-up of the spray machine as per spraying schedule issued by the factory manager ensuring that machine setting refelects the recommendation of the finishing applied. Ensure that the components are ready to spray and finished at the correct level. Load or unload components into the machine in the correct manner at the correct speed to ensure best possible finish Monitor and control the quality of the finished product coming out of the machine to make sure that it is at the reuired standard. General duties You will be based on the shopfloor planning and workload, additional duties and support might be needed in other areas of the business. Responsibilities: Manage a production team in the building of electrical/electronic equipment and PCB assembly. Ensure compliance with quality standards and requirements, analysing the results and ensuring corrective action is implemented to continuously improve the working environment. Effectively plan, organise, and coordinate resources to meet the production requirements. To investigate and analyse all production related issues and to ensure ongoing continuous improvement. Lead, manage, and develop all employees. Liaise and work with other departments to ensure any issues are resolved as quickly as possible. Create SOP's. Check the products production documents are accurate and complete. Generate KPIs, making recommendations on trends, improvements, and corrective actions to achieve and enhance operational excellence. The Successful Applicant: • Educated to degree level or equivalent and a proven track record within the electrical/electronic production industry. • Knowledge of implementing continuous improvement programmes. • Good written and verbal skills. • Able to listen to and influence peer group and department team members to build and lead effective working teams. • Good attention to detail and the can analyse data and interpret the information effectively to continuously improve the department and/or team.
