    The Opportunity:We are looking for a Logistics Operative / FLT Driver to join our Distribution Centre in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. This is a permanent position and is working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern - night shift.
    On Offer:£13.03 plus £2.10 shift allowance.12 hour shift, 42 hours per week average4 on 4 off - 18:00 to 06:00Paid last Friday of each month.
    Please note there is not public transport routes to our factory, therefore you will need your own transport!
    The RoleTo ensure processes are followed within the warehouse to ensure products are receipted in, stored and despatched to the agreed standards and loading plans whilst keeping our colleagues safe. 
    Key Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver:Supply the production departments with raw and packaging materials in order to maintain a continuous production programmeLocate all finished goods from production areas into the Warehouse for storage until despatchUnload as and when required all incoming vehicles and rack away the materials following acceptance and GRN generationPick and assemble loads ready for dispatch. Load outgoing vehicles with finished goods as detailed on the loading despatch paperworkWork in a safe manner at all times ensuring the safety of myself and colleagues. Follow health and safety policies and procedures at all times and raise any health and safety concerns through the appropriate channelsEnsure FLT fleet is fit for purpose through completing starter documentation and reporting damage to FLTs and plant damage by following the appropriate procedureUndertake training and assist with the training of other colleagues when required.     The Opportunity:We are looking for Skilled Production Operatives to join our Manufacturing site in Crick, Northamptonshire. We have opportunities available across different departments and different shift patterns available.
    The Role:To ensure processes are followed within the production to ensure products are produced in line with production plans to the highest level of quality whilst keeping our colleagues safe.

    Machine Operative - Extruder Thirsk | Permanent | Site-based We're excited to be recruiting for a Machine Operative to join our Extruder department in our Manufacturing site based near Thirsk, North Yorkshire.
    Responsibilities Responsible for the extrusion of a variety of animal food, including dog, cat, and small animal dry kibble.The extrusion process is where the magic happens - we take all of the dry ingredients that are delivered into the factory and follow a nutritionally formulated recipe to produce the quality kibble that IPN is renowned for.The extrusion department is responsible for the blending, mixing, and cooking of the raw material, and as a Machine Operator it will be your responsibility to ensure that the kibble is made to the correct specification - making sure that the size, shape and the weight of the finished product all fall within the specification guidelines.Now we appreciate that this sounds very complex, but don't worry, training in all aspects of these processes will be provided from simple tasks such as knowing what colour brushes to use to having the skills and knowledge to "run" the line independently.Ensuring that the highest level of quality is maintained throughout the production process, through compliance with relevant Food Safety legislation, standards and requirementsCarrying out pre-start checks on your area of responsibility to verify our safe ways of working are being adhered.Ensuring that hourly production checks are carried out, and when any issues arise, that they are reported immediately to the Team Leader

    The Role:In the packing department, your role involves packaging the extruded kibble produced by the on-site extruder department into specific bags for customers. You'll work as part of a shift rotation within one of four cells, each equipped with automated machines and robots that assist in the bagging, sealing, wrapping, and stacking processes. Once completed, the packaged bags are sent to the warehouse department.

    The role will involve:Ensuring that the highest level of quality is maintained by carrying out quality checks at hourly intervals throughout your shift and recording the information on our paper-based documents.Setting up and operating machines throughout your shift.Following production guidelines and ensuring our products are packed correctly.Monitoring the effectiveness of the machinery and equipment.Following the IPN 'Clean As You Go' policy at all times to ensure that the machine is operating to the highest standards of hygiene.Promoting a people safe culture, complying with policies and procedures, reporting any safety observations and plant damage through the appropriate channels. You'll need to: Have a good standard of education; demonstrate good literacy and numerical skills, be able to understand, communicate and report clearly in English.Be IT Literate and record data onto the factory computers.Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.Live in a 30 mile radius of our location which is YO7 3HE and have your own transport.Be able to lift up to 25kg and be able to work on your feet for long periods.Undertake training and assist with the training of other colleagues when required.
