The RoleWe are looking for a Hygiene Operative to join our Manufacturing site in Thirsk, to maintain hygiene standards based on CIC'S, SOP'S and company procedures, ensuring all requirements for foods safety, quality, legality and customer are met.
On Offer:£13.03 per hour = £32,523 per annum48 hours per week (Monday to Thursday between 06:00 and 16:00, Friday 06:00 - 14:00)Monthly pay last Friday of each month.Permanent
Please note there is not public transport routes to our factory, therefore you will need your own transport!

Key Responsibilities of the Hygiene Operative:To complete scheduled cleaning requirements to CIC'S standard To maintain daily, weekly & periodic sign off records ensuring correct and accurate completionTo complete all hygiene operations in accordance with Health & Safety including COSHH, product safety, legality & quality requirementsPromote clean as you go and work to these standards dailyTo always wear PPE correctly, hairnet, safety shoes, overalls, chemical resistant gloves, safety glasses and other PPE requiredUnderstand pest awareness and report any activity to your Line ManagerTo ensure a proactive approach is made towards Hygiene requirements and strive to be multiskilledDemonstrate knowledge of all cleaning equipment and materials and maintain to an high standardEnsure that a safe working environment exists for all colleagues and that as a minimum the department meets the standards set out in the safety, health and environment policy.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications of the Hygiene Operative:Previous experience in same or similar roleBasic knowledge of Health and SafetyAbility to complete tasks thoroughlyUnderstanding of basic of food safety.
