    Role Title: Amusement Machine Cash CollectorHours: Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week, 6am start times Salary: £21,000 upon successful completion of the probationary period. Transport: This role comes with a Company car, a fuel card, serviced and MOT included and can be used for personal use. We have an exciting full time permanent opportunity within our Collections team and we’re looking for hardworking and self-motivated individuals with the drive to succeed. The successful applicant will enjoy early starts, driving and the ability to work successfully alone. The role will involve visiting pubs and motorway service stations to empty amusement machines. A normal working day will include: Checking hopper levels, reading meters, counting cash and reconciling these figures via a PDA device Updating machines as necessary, usually via a USB device Ensure all collection processes are followed, including ensuring all cash left on site is checked by an appropriate site representative Please note due to the nature of the work, there will be a requirement of bending, kneeling and stretching at times. Previous experience of working with gaming machines would be an advantage – although full training can be provided. Specific Responsibilities / Key Tasks: To monitor machine performance and always ensure that machines and arcades are operated to maximum potential by full and correct maintenance, repair schedules, meter analysis and income tracking. Control and safeguard all floats and income in conjunction with your Area Manager and ensure Company procedures are always adhered to and document weekly float checks. With the Area Manager, plan and implement machine movements and installation and monitor machine plan weekly. Ensure that sufficient spares are in stock to help to eliminate machine downtime. Ensure toys, redemption stock is always held at the correct level. Complete regular and Company stock checks. Repair of amusement equipment/coin changers in the complex as notified by the public or management team Ensure maximum security of Company assets e.g., cash, service keys and machines Monitor machine performance and ensure machines operate to maximum potential Carry out Portable Appliance Tests and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) visits according to Company or customer schedules ensuring that the necessary documentation is completed. Also carry out PC Swaps and Project Updates as and when required. Carry out machine installations, changes and removals as required. Promote and maintain a good relationship with customers and always promote a correct company image by ensuring standard of dress meets with company requirements.
