This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in learners’ lives, guiding and mentoring them through their personal development journey and helping them succeed in their studies and beyond.The Apprenticeship Mentor will be a part time (22.5 hours per week) permanent role, working all year round. About the roleAs an Apprenticeship Mentor, you will work closely with curriculum teams, Student Services, ALS, and Careers staff to support apprentices’ personal development, attendance, and overall wellbeing. You will deliver personal development sessions, provide pastoral and learning support, track attendance and retention, and implement interventions to help apprentices succeed. You’ll also support the onboarding process, liaise with employers, and ensure that learners have access to the resources they need to thrive.What you’ll be doingYou will deliver engaging personal development sessions that reflect the OFSTED Education Inspection Framework, helping apprentices develop positive attitudes and behaviours. You will provide pastoral support for your caseload, assist learners in accessing internal services, and monitor attendance and engagement to ensure high retention. Working collaboratively with curriculum teams and external agencies, you will implement targeted interventions for vulnerable learners, including those with EHCPs, LLD, Looked After Children, or young carers.
