We combine cutting-edge technology with creative expertise to bring unique jewellery visions to life through precision CAD modelling, 3D printing, casting, and manufacturing services.    The Role At Ino Creative, we specialise in bringing diverse jewellery designs to life through our comprehensive manufacturing services. We work primarily with CAD-designed pieces and receive all types of designs from our varied client base, ranging from independent designers to established jewellery brands. Our business thrives on versatility and precision, handling everything from classic engagement rings to designer pieces. We are seeking an experienced Senior Diamond Setter to join our skilled manufacturing team, specialising in precision gemstone setting. This is a highly skilled craftsperson role for someone who is passionate about gemstone setting, precision stonework, and bringing jewellery pieces to their final stunning completion. You'll be working with prepared mountings from our goldsmith team whilst utilising expert setting skills to ensure each piece meets our exacting quality and aesthetic standards.    Key Responsibilities  Diamond & Gemstone Setting  Set diamonds and precious gemstones using various techniques: prong, bezel, channel, pavé, and micro-setting Execute setting work including halo settings, cluster designs, and intricate stone layouts Perform precision seat cutting and fitting for various gemstone shapes and sizes Handle high-value stones with extreme care and security protocols   Quality Control & Precision Work  Inspect gemstones for quality, clarity, and suitability before setting Ensure perfect stone alignment, height consistency, and secure retention Perform final quality checks on completed settings to meet luxury standards Execute setting repairs and re-setting work on existing pieces   Production Workflow  Coordinate with goldsmith team to receive prepared mountings ready for setting Work closely with CAD team to understand setting requirements from technical drawings Maintain detailed records of stone inventories and setting progress Collaborate with quality control team to ensure pieces meet client specifications   Essential Requirements  Technical Skills Minimum 5 years of professional diamond and gemstone setting experience Expertise in multiple setting techniques: prong, bezel, channel, pavé, bead setting etc Proficiency with specialized setting tools: gravers, burnishers, setting burs, microscopes Experience with precision seat cutting using various bur sizes and techniques Knowledge of different gemstone properties, hardness scales, and handling requirements Understanding of stone security, retention techniques, and setting durability   Craft Experience  Demonstrated experience in high-end luxury jewellery setting Ability to work from technical drawings and CAD renderings for setting layouts Experience setting various gemstone cuts: round brilliant, princess, emerald, marquise, pear, oval Knowledge of diamond grading basics and quality assessment Experience with both traditional and contemporary setting styles Familiarity with setting precious and semi-precious gemstones   Essential Qualities  Exceptional attention to detail and precision in stonework Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills Strong problem-solving abilities for complex setting challenges Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality standards Understanding of stone security and long-term durability requirements Patience and steady hands when working with high-value gemstones Strong organizational skills for managing stone inventories Commitment to continuous learning and technique refinement  Desirable Qualities Experience with micro-setting and pavé techniques Knowledge of colored gemstone setting and specialized requirements Experience with antique and vintage jewellery restoration setting Previous experience in high-end jewellery manufacturing environment Understanding of CAD design constraints and setting limitations Experience with laser welding for setting repairs Knowledge of gemstone treatments and their impact on setting Experience using microscopes and precision measuring tools   What We Offer Collaborative, creative work environment in central London Professional development opportunities Competitive salary package commensurate with experience Opportunity to work on unique and challenging setting projects Be part of a young, ambitious team focused on growth and success Access to high-quality tools and equipment    How to Apply If you are passionate about precision gemstone setting, have the specialized skills and experience we are looking for, and want to join London's dynamic jewellery manufacturing company, we would be pleased to hear from you.  Please Submit
