What You’ll Be DoingAs a Senior Bridge Engineer, you’ll not only be designing cutting-edge structures but also helping to drive business growth and manage multidisciplinary teams. Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll be involved in:Leading and undertaking assignments across the UK and internationally; delivering on time, on budget, and to the highest standardsUndertaking structural design and analysis using high-end analysis and design software across a broad range of structural types and using various international standardsAssisting in the management of the design process that may include other related design disciplinesCoordinating design as part of an internal team and liaising with external associated professionals and our clientsManaging project time, budgets, and resources, ensuring everything stays on trackOverseeing and mentoring junior engineers, supporting their professional development and Chartership progressCollaborating with internal and external teams in a cross-functional environment
Qualifications
What We’re Looking ForWe need a strong technical engineer with leadership capabilities who is ready to make an impact on some of the world’s most exciting and complex projects. Ideally, you’ll bring:A Chartered Civil Engineer qualification with a post-graduate qualification in a relevant subjectWorking knowledge of structural processes and design, with a particular emphasis on data interpretation, design & analysis, construction and advanced numerical modellingExtensive knowledge of Eurocodes and other national and international industry standards, contracts, methodologies, procedures and best practiceExperience working on major bridge construction and modern bridge erection works and construction techniques would be considered advantageousExperience with structural analysis software like LUSAS, Midas, RM BridgeStrong communication skills, with a talent for producing clear, high-quality written workThe ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, handling changing priorities while keeping quality highA collaborative approach, with a focus on successful delivery for our clients
