About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Freelance Solar PV Surveyor to carry out site surveys for domestic and commercial Solar PV installations.
Job OpportunityYou will be responsible for completing accurate on-site surveys to support system design, compliance, and installation planning. This is a freelance, self-employed role with regular work available within Dorset/Somerset/Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire and Wiltshire.Key responsibilities:Conduct on-site Solar PV surveys (roof and electrical)Assess roof condition, orientation, shading and accessCollect accurate measurements, photos and technical dataProduce clear survey reports for design and install teamsLiaise with customer on site, discussing requirements and feasibility
Essential SkillsPrevious experience surveying Solar PV InstallationsStrong understanding of Solar & battery systemsKnowledge of MCS standards and relevant regulationsAbility to identify electrical and structural constraintsOwn transport and survey equipmentReliable, detail-orientated and customer focused
