p strong Role: /strong Warehouse Distribution Operative /p p strong Location: /strong Lossiemouth, Scotland /p p strong Duration: /strong 12 months - initially /p p strong Role Type: /strong Onsite /p p strong Salary: /strong Depending on experience /p p br /p p strong Overview: /strong /p p An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Warehouse Distribution Operative to support our globally renowned aerospace client’s Fixed Wing Supply Chain operations at Lossiemouth. /p p br /p p Working within a highly regulated defence aviation environment, the successful candidate will provide day-to-day warehouse, inventory and distribution support, ensuring aircraft parts and materials are received, stored, controlled and dispatched accurately and in accordance with operational priorities. /p p The position involves close collaboration with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Platform Operations, RAF Logistics personnel, DE S and external transport providers. /p p br /p p strong Key Responsibilities: /strong /p ul li Receive incoming aircraft parts, materials and equipment, verifying quantities and documentation for accuracy. /li li Pick, pack and dispatch orders in accordance with aircraft and operational priorities. /li li Store and control materials within designated warehouse locations, maintaining accurate inventory records. /li li Conduct regular stock checks, cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy. /li li Identify, report and escalate discrepancies and non-conformances, ensuring appropriate segregation and control. /li li Operate warehouse and material-handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet trucks. /li li Maintain accurate documentation and records to support traceability and audit requirements. /li li Support Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations for spares failing Required Delivery Dates (RDDs). /li li Work closely with internal Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality and operational teams to ensure effective material availability and programme support. /li li Maintain warehouse standards in accordance with 6S, Health Safety, security and company procedures. /li li Review working practices and identify opportunities to improve warehouse, inventory and distribution processes. /li li Develop and monitor KPIs relating to warehouse and distribution performance. /li li Support and mentor less experienced team members in supply chain processes and best practice. /li li Participate in Continuous Improvement and cost-reduction initiatives. /li li Provide additional and out-of-hours operational support where required. /li /ul p br /p p strong Skills Experience: /strong /p ul li Previous experience within warehouse, stores, logistics, distribution or supply chain operations. /li li Strong understanding of inventory management, stock control and material handling processes. /li li Experience receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching materials within a controlled environment. /li li Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation to support audit and traceability requirements. /li li Experience identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies or non-conformances. /li li Understanding of Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), continuous improvement or structured problem-solving would be advantageous. /li li Experience working with ERP, MRP or warehouse management systems; knowledge of SAP or GOLDMRO would be particularly beneficial. /li li Knowledge of aviation, aerospace, defence, MRO or aircraft parts logistics would be highly advantageous. /li li Understanding of repair, maintenance, retrofit, parts kitting and supply chain support environments would be beneficial. /li li Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to respond effectively to changing operational requirements. /li li Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams. /li li Safety, security, quality and customer focused, with strong attention to detail. /li li Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work shifts and provide out-of-hours support where required. /li /ul p br /p p strong Key Competencies: /strong /p p Accountability • Inventory Control • Warehouse Operations • Supply Chain • Logistics • Material Handling • Stock Accuracy • Continuous Improvement • Root Cause Analysis • 6S • Planning Organisation • Teamwork • Customer Focus • Risk Awareness • Process Improvement • ERP/MRP Systems • Aircraft Parts MRO Support /p p br /p p strong Additional Information: /strong /p ul li strong Eligibility: /strong Applicants must already have the legal right to work in the UK.
