    Principal duties:
    Picking and packing orders to a high standardUsing D2 and other MHE to fulfil orders and customer demandsLoading and unloading vehicles in safe mannerRecording information on pick sheets.Liaising and communicating with team members effectivelyIdentifying issues within the area and feeding back to team leader/ managerGiving clear information on issuesKeeping areas clean and tidyEnsure that effective implementation of the company Health & Safety policy is maintained and that all legislation pertaining to safety, COSHH and environmental rulings are complied with. Ensure risk assessments and safe operating procedures are adhered to at all times.Undertake designated tasks as allocated by Managers.
    Required skills and responsibilities:
    D2 and B1 licencesWarehouse experienceUnderstanding of housekeeping requirementsExcellent information sharing skillsOrganisational skillsAbility to work under pressureEffective communication skillsDocumentation skillsKnowledge of Health & Safety requirements with a strong safety focus.Ability to follow instruction
    Experience or skills that would be desirable:
    Previous experience in a warehouse role (Preferred)Effective organisational and time management skills: (Preferred)Ability to communicate clearly and concisely: (Preferred)Work under own initiative and be a good team player (Preferred)

    Your Role & Impact·Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical plant and equipment·Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out effective repairs to minimise downtime·Conduct routine inspections and servicing of plant machinery.·Work closely with the production teams to minimize equipment downtime and improve productivity.·Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.·Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.·Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and equipment efficiency.·Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment as required in line with engineering drawings and specifications·Work as part of a team and liaise with external contractors when necessary.· Able to Strip, inspect, repair, and rebuild mechanical assemblies including gearboxes, pumps, motors, conveyors, bearings, and shafts
    Required skills and responsibilities Proven experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environmentStrong mechanical and diagnostic skills.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.A recognised engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent) in mechanical engineering.Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.Flexibility to work shifts and respond to callouts when required.Good communication and teamwork skills.Carry out risk assessments and follow safe systems of work (LOTO, permits, RAMS)Maintain high housekeeping standardsFlexible and adaptable to changing production demandsStrong attention to detail and quality of workSelf-motivated with a proactive approachOvertime as required to support business needs
