We are recruiting skilled Vehicle Technicians – Level 2, Level 3, or time-served – to join our client’s busy automotive operation in Upper Heyford. These roles offer long-term, ongoing work with a leading name in the industry, working across a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
The Role:
As a Vehicle Technician, your duties may include:
Level 3 Vehicle Technician: Carry out servicing, warranty recalls, clutch changes, cam-belt replacements, and gearbox repairs.
Complete underbody safety checks and ensure all mechanical work is carried out to manufacturer standards.
Work efficiently within a fast-paced workshop/bodyshop environment.
Ensure repairs are completed accurately and within required timeframes. Level 2 Vehicle Technician: Perform general mechanical repairs in line with approved processes.
Carry out routine servicing, health checks, and inspections.
Conduct tyre changes and basic mechanical work appropriate to skill level.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard on the first attempt. Experience & Qualifications: Level 2 or Level 3 Vehicle Technician qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, IMI), or proven time-served experience.
Strong mechanical knowledge and previous experience in a similar role.
Good attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
Reliable, with a positive work ethic.
Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points for minor offences). What We Offer: Weekly pay.
