    Monitoring, controlling and operating CCTV cameras in an Alarm Receiving Centre. As a CCTV Operator you will be responsible for the pro-active and reactive monitoring and control of cameras and the
    operation of video recording equipment. You’ll work closely with the site security officers, ensuring the security and
    safety of premises, customers, and colleagues.  You will also be responsible for:
    • Producing and analysing data from software systems
    • Responding to requests and queries from colleagues and clients

    camera monitoring equipment and playback facilities
    • Reviewing CCTV video material to ensure that the material is of evidential standard

    nights. An SIA Public Space Surveillance (PSS) (CCTV) license is essential, and to succeed in this role you will also need:

    • Previous experience in the use of monitoring platforms such as Immix Cloud, Sentinel and EMS
    • The ability to work calmly under pressure whilst dealing with multiple issues

The role is shift-based, meaning you’ll work between 4 and 12-hour shifts, with morning shifts starting as early as 2am. Bristol Airport is a 24-7-365 operation, so at times you may work early mornings, late nights, weekends & bank holidays if your shifts fall on these days. If offered a role, all Security Agents will be required to attend a 10-day accredited GSO training course. You will need to pass our referencing checks going back five years, along with DBS (criminal records) and CTC (counter terrorist) checks, due to the security equipment you will be required to operate.  If you have resided in another country or countries for 6 months or longer in the last five years, you'll need to obtain criminal record checks from all the relevant countries to cover the last five years.
