What You'll Be D oingAs a Senior Solution Architect, you w ill:Develop application and technology roadmaps to support transformation and migration program mes.Design flexible, scalable and reusable solution architectures aligned with enterprise standards and business objecti ves.Take ownership of solution design, ensuring stakeholder approval and governance sign- off.Collaborate with business and change teams to define target operating models and develop business cases for technology initiati ves.Support requirements gathering and business process optimisation, maximising the use of core platforms while minimising unnecessary custom developm ent.Champion architecture governance, design patterns and technology standa rds.Promote Agile delivery and DevSecOps practices throughout the software development lifecy cle.Work closely with technical leads and development teams to review designs, provide architectural guidance, support code quality and performance optimisat ion.Identify technical risks and define appropriate mitigation strateg ies.Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative, cost-effective soluti ons.Produce high-quality architecture documentation for governance and delivery te ams.Contribute to architecture repositories, reusable services and enterprise technology standa rds.Act as the bridge between business and IT teams, mentoring colleagues and encouraging collaboration across program mes.Partner with programme managers and delivery leads to ensure solution designs are practical, achievable and aligned with project objecti ves.Define and oversee non-functional requirements, including security, resilience, scalability and performa nce. Abou t YouYou'll be an experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in enterprise architecture and insurance techno logy. You'll be comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, leading technical discussions and translating business requirements into practical technology solut ions. You'll bring:Proven experience across the insurance lifecycle, including areas such as underwriting, claims, policy administration and bi lling.Extensive experience delivering core insurance platform projects, ideally including Guidewire, across both greenfield implementations and transformation progr ammes.Experience designing integrated solutions involving document management, ERP platforms and customer or broker po rtals.Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile delivery methodol ogies.Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks su ch as TOGAF (certification desir able).Deep knowledge of modern architecture principles incl uding:Cloud techno logiesMicrose rvicesAPI-led archit ectureEvent-driven integ rationService-oriented archit ectureExperience creating enterprise application roadmaps and future-state architecture strat egies.Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor technical teams and influence architectural deci sions.Excellent analytical, communication, documentation and stakeholder management s kills.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent experi ence).6+ years' experience designing and delivering architecture solutions within core insurance plat forms.
