    Description :Expert Process Safety Engineer (Functional Safety)Role Overview: Huntsman has an opportunity for an experienced Process Safety Engineer with deep knowledge of Functional Safety to join our Global Process Safety Centre of Excellence.This is an exciting opportunity for a proven Process Safety Engineer to guide the development of the company’s process safety program as well as provide expert support to Huntsman’s operating sites.This is a key, business‑critical role within our organization, responsible for strengthening our global standards and ensuring robust process safety performance across all regions.The position is fully remote, offering flexibility regarding work location. Apply today! Role Responsibilities: As a Expert Process Safety Engineer (Functional Safety), you will be responsible for: Providing internal resource to sites for process safety studies, particularly leading LOPA/SIL Assessments.Delivering specialist expertise in areas of process safety with a particular focus on Functional Safety.Delivering Design support for Safety Instrumented FunctionsPerforming Design Verification and FSA studies for SIS/SIFs.When required, leading and participating in process safety related incident investigations.Developing and deliver training in Process Safety methodologies.Participating in the Process Safety Audit program, including the self-audit program for Huntsman sites.Experience and Competencies: We are looking for experienced candidates with hands-on experience within international context.What we are looking for: Bachelor of Science degree, ideally within Chemical Engineering or InstrumentationProfessional Engineer experience in process or equipment design and/or operations with specific experience in Process Safety.Strong communication and influencing skills.SIL Assessment experience, familiarity with risk identification and reduction techniques, in addition to familiarity with failure mechanisms, protection systems and their design.Hold a recognised qualification in Functional Safety for the process sector such as CFSE (Certified Functional Safety Expert), TUV FS Eng or equivalent.Ability to travel around 50% - 65% within Europe, including occasional travel to other regions.Knowledge of process safety regulations and legislations with particular focus on IEC/ISA 61511.Fluency in English, verbal and written, is essential to perform studies across the region and produce reports of high quality and accuracy.A detailed knowledge or ability in any of the following disciplines is advantageous:Ability to Facilitate Process Hazard Analysis (PHA)Practical knowledge of Area classification and managementPractical knowledge of Alarm ManagementPractical knowledge of human factors.What next?If you would like to join an innovative, collaborative and multicultural team, please apply now. Working closely with the Warehouse Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring safe and efficient handling, storage, and movement of chemicals, raw materials, and finished goods. You will act as a role model for safety and operational excellence, supporting the Team Leader by allocating tasks to the warehouse team and helping maintain high standards.Key Responsibilities: As the Warehouse Senior Operator, you will:Support the Warehouse Team Leader in delivering daily operational plans.Allocate work to warehouse operators as directed by the Team Leader.Act as a role model in the Site Behavioural Safety Programme, coaching peers and promoting a zero-harm culture.Perform advanced warehouse tasks, including tanker offloading and handling high-risk materials.Liaise with Team Leaders, Production, and Logistics to meet operational objectives.Ensure compliance with SOPs and EHS standards, reporting and investigating incidents.Coordinate cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and support production needs.Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.Deputise for the Team Leader during absences.Key RequirementsWhat we are looking for:We are looking for individuals who bring reliability, precision and a proactive, positive attitude to the team.
