    Likewise is the alcohol and drug service for adults across Sheffield. We provide information, advice and support so people can make better choices around alcohol and drugs. We work with people to be safer through a range of dedicated, professional support. Our service is led by the national charity Waythrough with partner Project 6 who have been working and supporting people across the city for many years. We also support people to achieve and sustain recovery from problematic alcohol and drug use through a range of treatments. Likewise, is a partnership of experienced local providers offering a complete choice of services, enabling us to provide help to anyone no matter how simple or complex their needs.

    As Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating administrative operations across the service. This includes supervision of staff, oversight of processes and pathways, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

    Within the role of outreach worker, the successful applicant would be expected to engage with individuals affected by substance misuse in community settings, with the goal of reducing harm and facilitating access to treatment and support. The role involves building trusting relationships with service members who may be disengaged from services, including but not limited to rough sleepers, those in temporary accommodation, or individuals involved with the criminal justice system.

    As an Assessment and Engagement Coordinator you will work as part of a team to carry out assessments and deliver drug and alcohol recovery interventions to enable individual service user progression from engagement, through structured treatment to sustained recovery.

    You will manage an agreed service user caseload, reviewing on-going care and treatment and liaising closely with the full range of partners, as well as family members and significant others, to achieve and sustain recovery goals.

    Waythrough are delighted to be recruiting for 3 Community Link Workers within our newly created Liaison and Diversion services across North and Central London. Working within a team you will predominantly managing and working with a male only cohort. The purpose of this role to work within a multi-disciplinary team to provide information, advice and guidance, referral and direct individual support to enable access to support services for adults, children and young people identified through custody-based triage as having mental ill health, learning disability or substance misuse issues to promote mental and physical wellbeing. 

    People accessing our services may have varying mental health disorders, specialist rehabilitation needs and may come to our services from courts and prisons. This also includes provision for people with a learning disability and autistic people that fall within the auspices of eligibility for forensic mental health services. 
    This will be a key role within the Liaison and Diversion Services multi-disciplinary team within South London, working in close partnership with colleagues from the North London Forensic Collaborative and South London Partnership (NHS), working with vulnerable adults with multiple needs requiring advocation and support to access any required services.  

    The successful candidate will be required to be travel across the North and Central London area, all locations are accessible via public transport, we do not provide parking. You will be office based with a mix of outreach work. This potentially includes working in police stations and custody suites, therefore future vetting may be required within this role.

    About the role
    Haringey Recovery and Treatment Services (HARTS) delivers psychosocial and activity-based interventions for adults in recovery from drug and alcohol use. The service works in partnership
    with other local services such as drug and alcohol treatment services, family and young peoples services, social services, criminal justice, mental health teams and other community projects

    The Counselling and Psychotherapy Service is a team that provides time bound counselling and psychological therapies to adults in recovery from addictions and work is offered both face to face and remotely.

    For the most part our student placement counsellors undertake a placement with us to gain clinical hours for experience and to meet training requirements. We welcome applications from students wishing to see clients during evenings and Saturdays, as well as normal weekday hours. Sessions will be located across the Borough and can be conducted at the service, as well as at our many partner sites.
