To increase and record participation in ‘Be Active’ extra curricular sport, exercise and fitness activities and clubs for 16-19 year old students at Havant and South Downs. To develop, promote, organise and supervise team sports, fixtures and training/coaching at Havant and South Downs campus. Responsibilities You will be responsible for: Build and develop the Be Active and Be Adventurous programmes within the College’s Be Extraordinary programme, as directed by AP Academic Curriculum & Enrichment.To act as the main link person, in the context of FE, within the College and local sporting infrastructure, through County Sports Partnerships, NGBs and Community Sports Networks.Develop, promote, organise and supervise sport and physical exercise clubs and societies on the Havant and South Downs campus.Work with the ‘Be Aspirational’ lead, ‘Be Involved’ coordinator and SUN mentors to integrate and unite Be Active and Be Adventurous activities with other Be Extraordinary themes.To work with key local sporting partners to signpost more young people into participation in sport in the community.Work effectively with the Head of Faculty, Sports and Public Services to promote and increase student engagement with sports and fitness activities.
