You will oversee your designated section, maintain the highest standards of hygiene and presentation, and contribute to the school’s mission of fostering wellbeing through nutrition.Key Responsibilities Prepare and present dishes to the highest standards in accordance with menu specifications.Manage and organize your station efficiently, ensuring smooth service at all times.Support the development and execution of seasonal menus and special event catering.Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and allergen protocols in line with school and regulatory requirements.Train and mentor junior kitchen staff when required.Collaborate with the Head Chef and wider team to deliver a refined and consistent culinary experience. Requirements Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef looking to step up.Background in high-end hospitality, contract catering, or premium educational environments is a plus.Solid understanding of modern cooking techniques and kitchen operations.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.High standards of cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail.A genuine passion for delivering exceptional, nutritious meals for young people.Food Safety Level 2 (or higher); additional certifications are advantageous.
