Location: Nottingham Shift: 4 on 4 off, nights  We’re looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to keep our high-speed production lines running safely and efficiently.  You’ll spend the majority of your time on mechanical fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenance, with enough electrical knowledge to work safely, diagnose faults and support line recovery.  This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideal for an engineer who enjoys fixing problems properly and minimising downtime. Key Responsibilities;  Mechanical and Electrical fault finding and repair on production and packaging equipment  Planned and reactive mechanical maintenance.  Electrical fault diagnosis (sensors, motors, drives, panels). Safety focused, not design-led.  Rapid response to breakdowns to keep production running  Identify and implement reliability and improvement opportunities  Work safely, following site and legal engineering standards  What We’re Looking For... Multi Skilled experience essential  NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a qualification/course completed in the other. To operate bakery equipment and systems effectively while working a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (6am–6pm / 6pm–6am), carrying out first-line maintenance activities to achieve performance against key operational metrics. Key Responsibilities: SHHEQ Take personal responsibility for all Premier Foods and legislative Health & Safety requirements. Adhere to all operative and maintenance procedures, risk assessments, method statements, and SHHEQ systems. Production Work effectively within a flexible, customer-focused team. Record quality and performance data using company IT systems and take ownership of performance targets. Monitor line performance and material usage, taking corrective action where required. Maintain clear communication with production teams, slicing teams, maintenance technicians, suppliers, and customers. Drive continuous improvement and actively participate in development reviews. Maintenance Adjust plant equipment to maintain agreed specifications. Carry out scheduled and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime. Anticipate and resolve operational issues effectively. Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness. Knowledge & Experience Minimum 4 GCSEs / NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent). Basic literacy, numeracy, and IT skills. Experience in a bakery or process environment preferred. Basic food hygiene qualification. Strong problem-solving skills within defined parameters. Mechanical and electrical aptitude. About the role Hovis is continuing its journey to becoming a truly data-driven organisation, and we’re looking for a Data Architect to help shape how data is structured, governed and used across the business. Working as part of a small, remote IT team, you’ll define and evolve our enterprise data architecture while remaining close to delivery. This is a mid–senior level role, ideal for someone who enjoys influencing strategy, getting hands on when needed, and flexing between architecture and delivery as priorities evolve. While large-scale data migration isn’t guaranteed in the short term, the platform and roadmap are evolving, so this role offers variety, ownership, and long-term impact rather than being tied to a single transformation programme. What you’ll be doing; Define and maintain the enterprise data architecture roadmap aligned to business goals. Design conceptual, logical and physical data models across transactional and analytical domains. Set and govern data architecture standards, patterns and principles. Guide the evolution of Azure-based data platforms. Translate business needs into pragmatic, scalable data designs. Provide architectural oversight and hands-on support to delivery teams. Act as a trusted data advisor to senior stakeholders. Support front-end reporting and analytics using Power BI, Tableau and SSAS. Class 1 (Cat C + E) Single Drop – Hovis Avonmouth (BS11) Shift: Rotating shift pattern – Days and Nights Hours: Average 12 hours per shift The Role We’re recruiting Class 1 (Cat C+E) drivers to carry out trunking and primary distribution deliveries. You’ll be delivering bakery products between depots and to third-party customer sites. This is mainly trunking / RDC work with some minimal manual handling.
