    The Role We are looking for a talented and driven Data Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team and play a key role in growing membership and sponsorship revenues within the eCommerce sector.     As Business Development Manager you’ll generate new business, nurture client relationships, and help shape sales strategies in collaboration with marketing. If you are motivated, target-driven, and excited to work at the heart of the eCommerce industry, we want to hear from you.
    Key Responsibilities: Drive new membership and sponsorship revenue through phone, email, LinkedIn, and in-person sales channels. Lead LinkedIn Navigator outreach efforts, crafting tailored messages and utilizing tools like Dripify. Collaborate with marketing to research and compile lead lists using tools like Cognism and Apollo. Convert inbound enquiries into sales and proactively pursue outbound opportunities. Maintain and update the Salesforce CRM with accurate sales pipelines and activity tracking. Build and develop contact databases through research, outreach, and networking. Represent the company at industry events, networking to build meaningful client connections. Contribute to the planning and execution of sales and marketing strategies.
    About You You are a persuasive and enthusiastic professional with a strong interest in the eCommerce sector. With a keen eye for commercial opportunities and a drive to exceed targets, you’ll thrive in this outreach-driven role.
    What You’ll Bring: A genuine passion for sales and a desire to build a career in the dynamic eCommerce industry. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and connect with clients. Experience using social media and lead generation tools (e.g., LinkedIn, Apollo, Dripify) to identify and engage prospects. Strong organisational skills, with proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce experience is a plus). A commercial mindset and an entrepreneurial approach to finding new opportunities. Confidence in both phone and face-to-face interactions, with excellent interpersonal skills. A strong interest in eCommerce data, analysis, and insights.
