Lochrin Rooftop Bar – Moxy Edinburgh Fountainbridge Position: Bar Staff (Casual) | Salary: £13,13 per hour Job Description We are looking to build our bar team for the Lochrin Rooftop Bar. Located on the top level of the Moxy Edinburgh Fountainbridge Hotel, we provide a relaxed, laid‑back environment for international visitors and locals with freshly prepared drinks, “Gusty Scran” food, and an outdoor terrace. The service is fast‑paced and up‑market, with a focus on great hospitality, professional teamwork and high standards. Responsibilities Serve guests and create positive experiences Manage all bills and payments correctly Prepare food, clean, tidy, restock, take deliveries, and organise BOH areas Follow food safety, licensing and health and safety policies Cook and prepare meals to standard Prepare exceptional cocktails to standard Use effective sales skills to up‑sell products and services Provide excellent customer service Support other team members and management Promote and support the bar and wider hotel Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 kg or less without assistance Requirements Passion for food and drinks Good with people and enjoy chatting with guests Skilled multitasker who can balance challenging work with great service Know that being relaxed is different from being lazy Clear communicator fluent in English (other languages a plus) Useful Experience Experience within the hospitality industry Knowledge of POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros Knowledge of food safety and licensing laws Knowledge of a wide range of drinks Cocktail making experience Basic food preparation experience Benefits Health Cash Plan Enhanced Maternity/Paternity/Adoption pay Pension scheme Twenty eight holidays (annually increasing to max thirty three holidays) Assessment: a personality assessment may be part of the recruitment process. #J-18808-Ljbffr
