    Job Description

    We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team Edgbaston Office as a CAREGiver. As a CAREGiver, you will provide a variety of non-medical services to help them keep independent in their own home. The requirements of the role varies from client to client, but you may be required to help with, Aspects of personal care i.e. toileting, assisting with personal hygiene, to meal preparation, medication prompts, homecare i.e. washing, laundry, and general cleaning duties, as well as companionship so accompanying the client to shops, pharmacies and attending social groups and activities. We also specialise in Alzheimer's and dementia care but full training is provided. No experience is required as full training is provided Our clients usually have breakfast, lunch, tea, bed and overnight calls depending on the level of care that they require 
    Qualifications

    You will not need any experience of working in the care setting or interacting with older people but it would be desirable if you do. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience. You will need to have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You will need be reliable, trustworthy and respectful. You will need to enjoy building professional friendships and are comfortable in spending time in the company of others

    Key responsibilities of a Night Care Assistant: Night-time reassurance: Providing a calming presence for clients who may feel anxious, confused or lonely during the night. Bedtime and morning routines: Assisting with evening winding-down (undressing, washing) and helping the client start their day with dignity in the morning. Personal care: Supporting with bathroom visits and personal hygiene throughout the night, ensuring the client's comfort and skin integrity. Medication support: Assisting with evening or early morning medication reminders. Monitoring and safety: Keeping a watchful eye on clients with specialised needs, such as those living with Dementia, to prevent falls and nocturnal incidents. Light housekeeping: During quieter moments (for waking nights), performing light housekeeping tasks to ensure the home is tidy and prepared for the client's morning. 
    Qualifications

    We don't look for a specific qualification, but for a Night Care Assistant; experience in care is preferred.
