CAD Technician Glasgow (4 days in Bellshill office, 1 day remote) £35,000–£45,000 We are recruiting for a CAD Technician to join a growing engineering design team, supporting the delivery of civil design packages across energy infrastructure projects. You'll work on a diverse range of infrastructure projects, producing technical drawings and supporting the delivery of innovative engineering solutions across the energy sector. Key Responsibilities: Producing and updating drawings including general arrangements, site layouts, drainage, earthworks, and temporary works Converting engineer mark-ups, survey data, and sketches into accurate, buildable drawings Supporting the design of haul roads, working platforms, access layouts, and related civil infrastructure Collaborating with engineers and design teams to deliver high-quality outputs across energy projects Requirements: 2+ years’ AutoCAD experience within a Civils or Infrastructure environment Experience producing civil/structural drawings and technical detailing packages Civil 3D and BIM knowledge beneficial Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing engineering design team working on major energy infrastructure projects, offering exposure to varied technical challenges and strong long-term development potential.
