Insurance Operations Support Technician
A forward-thinking Commercial and Specialty Lines organisation, aiming to become one of the UK’s leading insurers through a unique business model, is seeking an Operations Support Technician to join their small, collaborative team.
You will bring recent, hands-on experience in processing bordereaux within the insurance sector, along with strong Excel skills for data creation and manipulation.
A solid understanding of bordereaux content and experience working in a delegated Underwriting and Claims environment is essential.
Key Responsibilities: Configure binders and associated bordereaux within the binder management system. Proactively manage relationships with coverholders and third-party administrators to ensure timely receipt of bordereaux in line with agreed service levels. Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of bordereaux data. Take ownership of resolving any data quality issues related to bordereaux. Support the preparation and completion of monthly compliance and quality checks. Escalate any potential breaches of binder terms in a timely manner. Assist with credit control functions with regards to unpaid premiums Support the CUO, Operations Delivery Manager and Third Party Administrator in preparing for coverholder and claims administrator meeting
Key Skills Required: Understanding of bordereaux contents to include receipt and processing Recent experience of processing bordereaux within the insurance domain Experience of utilising a system-based bordereaux management solution Ability to work with external Third Parties A fastidious eye for detail and data

What You’ll Do: Oversee end-to-end cloud infrastructure & application delivery — from design to deployment. Design and test robust, scalable architecture in collaboration with SMEs. Lead and mentor onshore/offshore technical teams , ensuring alignment and high performance. Act as a trusted stakeholder liaison , ensuring service delivery meets expectations. Champion a solution-driven mindset , identifying areas for optimization and improvement.
What You Bring: Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure (IAAS, PAAS, IaC) and platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP . Strong grasp of microservices architecture and Azure native services . Proven leadership in technical delivery, team management, and service transition . Understanding of Insurance Systems (Policy Admin, Underwriter Workbench, Claims, etc.) Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and software development life cycles. Top-tier communication, problem-solving , and interpersonal skills.
