    We are currently seeking an experienced Steel Operative to join our client during an exciting period of growth and relocation. The company is transitioning from Dudley to a newly built, state-of-the-art facility in Worcester. This is a great opportunity to be part of an essential team supporting production operations.Key Responsibilities:Raw Material Loading & Handling: Safely load raw materials onto production lines and ensure materials are available for production. Follow FIFO stock rotation and ensure proper handling and storage of materials.Tooling & Equipment Setup: Set and change tooling according to manufacturing requirements, ensuring all tools are correctly calibrated and compliant with standards.Forklift & Crane Operations: Operate forklifts and cranes to move and load raw materials and finished goods, ensuring materials are handled safely and efficiently.Key Skills & Requirements:Licences: Counterbalance Forklift Licence (6 Tonnes), Crane Licence (essential), Reach Truck Licence (beneficial).Experience: Experience with raw material stock control, goods receipt, and operating forklifts and cranes. Previous experience in a supervisory role is an advantage.Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with barcode systems are beneficial.Personal Skills: Strong people skills, the ability to work under pressure, and excellent attention to detail.
