    Your job role will include:

    ·        
    Leading a motivated and energetic team and
    ensure our patrons receive the outstanding service they have come to
    expect.

    ·        
    Working closely with your Head Chef to achieve
    a high quality level food service and a profitable kitchen

    ·        
    Working with the finance and marketing teams
    to improve sales and profit

    ·        
    Imagination and
    ability to maximise business potential

    ·        
    Recognizing the importance of atmosphere and
    customer experience in community pubs

    ·        
    Exceptional communication skills and a
    keen eye for detail

    ·        
    Recruiting staff members when needed from
    advertisements through to interview and hire

    You will be responsible for the venue
    performance as a whole, inclusive of sales, P&L, stock control, wage
    control & team performance

    ·        
    Your duties therefore include ordering stock;
    stock control procedures; rota building according to target and projected
    sales; compliance and marketing.

    ·        
    Service responsibilities include running
    service, managing both the FOH and BOH teams, and cellar management

    Purpose of the role:The Assistant Buyer supports the Buyer in the smooth and commercial delivery of the Pringle product range to drive profitable sales growth. This role supports the management of the process to ensure that the collections, once designed are appropriately priced and that they are effectively produced to the quality expectations of the Pringle customer, and in line with dept and business expectations.
    Responsibilities:Accountable for:
    Assisting Buyer in all aspects of the product development process.Buy & develop ranges inline with agreed range and in line with business strategy.Contracting orders to suppliers for all dept to Critical Path (delegating to Admin. If necessary)Oversee buying info on the range plan to ensure 100% accuracy and information entered in a timely manner.Sample ManagementCritical path managementRange Development:Develop Ranges to agreed plan & margin, and in line with agreed Supply partnersPlace orders & manage to 95% availability.Maximise sales through trading & otb strategy.( within agreed parameters)Manage critical path & own all approval stages.Liaise with suppliers & Sourcing to manage sourcing opportunities (with agreement of Dept. head/BD)Liaise with merchandiser to produce lessons learnt for future ranging.Produce monthly market & competitor reports to form strategies for future ranging.Present ranges in sign off.Be aware of sales and performance.Understand cost price/margin/quantity requirementsCritical Path & fit process:Update and manage critical path weekly.Report exceptions to all channel launch dates to buyer on weekly basisLiaise weekly with direct team, merchandising & technical through garment approval stages, & update critical path.Delegate or approve fabrics, colours & garment trims to delivery.Attend fit sessions & approve through quickest technical staging.Report to Buyer on QC issues to solutions.Raise & follow through debit notes for late deliveries.
