Articulated Dump Truck Driver We are seeking a skilled and reliable Articulated Dump Truck Driver to operate articulated dump trucks on construction sites, quarries, and mining operations in Leyburn. The successful candidate will ensure the safe and efficient transportation of materials while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. Pay: £20.00 per hour Duration: 9 weeks Duties Operate articulated dump trucks to transport materials across construction, quarry, and mining sites. Carry out daily vehicle inspections, reporting faults or defects promptly. Perform basic maintenance, including checking fluid levels and tyre pressures. Follow all site health and safety procedures and regulations. Work closely with site managers and operators to ensure efficient material movement. Assist with other plant operations, including excavators, where qualified. Maintain accurate records of loads transported and operating hours. Requirements Proven experience operating articulated dump trucks in construction, quarry, mining, or industrial environments. Valid CPCS or NPORS card and relevant heavy vehicle certification. Basic mechanical knowledge to complete routine inspections and minor maintenance. Excavator or other heavy plant experience is desirable but not essential. Good understanding of health and safety regulations. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
