Ideally some electrical knowledge Our Client is a well established Packaging Manufacturing organisation who require to appoint an experienced Mechanical Engineer to maintain over 60 machines within their busy factory. The role involves maintenance and ordering of spare parts for machinery involved in the production of heavy duty bags and sacks for such industries as Construction / Industrial / Chemicals / Animal Feed etc. Benefits: Quarterly and Annual Bonus – based in Performance / Attendance. 20 Days Hol plus 8 Bank Hols. Extra days for long service / after 5 years. Pension Scheme, join on commencement . 7.2% Employer Contribution. Health. Hours of Work: Off from Friday to Sunday: 07:00 am to 5:20 pm Monday to Thursday . Break Times – 9:35 am – 09:50 am, 12:20 pm – 12:40 pm, 3:00 pm – 3.15 pm from Monday to Thursday. Overtime Payment: If working overtime on Friday, it will be time and a half for the first 5 hours, then double time. Role responsibilities include: Carry out planned maintenance and repairs.
    Periodically make planned maintenance reports for the relevant month at the month’s end.
    Coordinate to eliminate the follow-up of the malfunctions that occur in the machines.
    Ensure the implementation and follow-up of the items related to the decisions taken in the audits related to OHS, quality, product safety and the board meetings held.
    Ensure coordination with the relevant production unit to determine the needs of the Production Units.
    Purchase parts to ensure that the relevant product is purchased in the shortest and most accurate way.
    Support the creation of the asset numbers of the machines together with the financial management.
    Work by the requirements of Environment, OHS, Information Security, Quality management and other systems applied in the Company in all business processes.
    Act by the issues specified in the procedures, instructions and announcements published within the Company to make timely returns in cases where a return is required.
    Participate in all studies and training assigned per the Company’s policies and objectives.
