  CLOSING DATE: 27th February 2027A vacancy has arisen within our team at Drax Power Station for a Multi-Functional Operator to support our site Barlow Reclaim operations.Hargreaves Industrial Services provide a varied Operations and Maintenance service to our client at Drax Power Station. We handle, maintain and reclaim materials including FBA, Coal and Mitigant Slurry whilst managing material stocks and transportation using a wide range of Mobile Plant.The role briefly encompasses the following:Ensuring that the required supply of material to the station is maintained and that the housekeeping and stock management of the Mitigant plant areas is carried out in accordance with the Hargreaves contractual requirements.Operating Front end loaders to load the screener and ADT’s with product as per the requirements of the power stationOperating the ADT to transport product to the production areas as per the requirements of the power station.Operating the Dozer to reclaim PFA.Operating the Screener to size the product ready for further processingCarrying out any other reasonable instruction required to ensure the smooth operation of the site as directed by the supervisor.Promoting and maintaining a positive attitude towards safety, compliant with Hargreaves and Drax’s safety rules.The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/ attributes:A positive attitude towards safetyStrong team working and communication skillsECITB or EMSS safety passport or equivalentRisk assessment trainingManual handling trainingCOSHH awareness trainingMaterials handling operations experienceCompetent within HIS and Drax Power safety & Golden rulesFlexible approach to work and punctualTolerant of diverse working situations & conditionsTracked Dozer trainingScreening operations trainingFEL TrainingADT TrainingAbility to work well independently and with minimum supervisionDue to the health and safety risks associated with this working environment, all individuals must comply with face fitted dust mask rules.   CLOSING DATE: 17th February 2026A vacancy has arisen for a FEL Operator to join our team within our new Operations and cleaning of a Biomass handling & storage facility contract at the Port of Tyne.The FEL Operator role exists to move Biomass material on site, hours of work will be dependent on vessel schedules.Hargreaves Industrial Services provide an operations, and cleaning service to our client at the Port of Tyne Biomass handling facility.
  We are responsible for the safe movements and handling of Biomass following discharge from vessels and the despatch of loaded rail wagons within the Port.The role briefly encompasses the following duties: -Loading of Biomass into loading hoppers to supply material to rail loading facility adjacent to Biomass storeLoading of Biomass materials into road lorriesSecondary Loading/movements of Biomass material to/from varying storage areas within the Port boundarySupport the movements of Biomass material within the main Biomass storeStock management within the main Biomass store, requirement to use push up bladesEnsure differing types of materials are separated.Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed to support the plant operations and material movementsEnsure plant and equipment is maintained to an operationally safe and clean condition at all timesUnderstanding of Safe Working Procedures.Attend any meetings or training sessions as requiredThe ideal candidate will be a good communicator and must have a good understanding of Health & Safety in the work placeThe successful candidate will also be required to support secondary roles within the operation – Examples below (training will be provided)Internal tipper wagon drivingTrain loading watchmanBiomass material condition monitoringThe ideal candidate will possess the following skills/experience/ attributes:-Recognised FEL licence (Option for internal site licence/CPCS/NPOR’s etc)IOSHH working safely (Min standard – training given)Experience of working within a materials handling environmentPrevious experience working within a Biomass handling environment (Desirable)COMPEX training desirable however training will be available Read Less
