    About the RoleWe're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Analyst to join our Specialist Mortgages division at Hampshire Trust Bank. You'll play a key role in supporting operational efficiency, ensuring data integrity, and driving continuous improvement across our processes. This is a hands-on role where you'll provide analytical insights, streamline workflows, and help deliver positive customer outcomes in a growing and ambitious team.
    Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a point of contact for operational queries on data and processesCreate and maintain detailed process maps and SOPsIdentify inefficiencies and propose process improvementsProduce operational performance reports and dashboardsTrack and report KPIs related to service operationsMonitor, validate, and maintain data accuracy across core systemsSupport ad-hoc data analysis requests from stakeholdersContribute to small-change initiatives and operational improvementsCollaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of change outcomes

    About The Role
    Generate quality mortgage loan applications through our network of brokers in line with business targets.Support the Business Development Managers with broker onboarding, ensuring all documentation and checks have been carried out and the broker on boarding process has been followed.Work closely with the Business Development Managers, following up on appointments and new business leads.Take inbound calls on new loan scenarios, assisting the broker with loan structuring and product selection.Develop and maintain close and regular contact with brokers and clients ensuring communication of requirements to and from all parties are both clear and unambiguous.Discuss and follow up on all issued DIPs with the broker/client to ensure full understanding of requirements and product termsUpdate the company database and systems, maximising the systems capability and using it both as a task prompt and as an audit trail.Assist the broker with any questions the borrower may have with the terms/pricing/structure of the loan.Follow up and track initial loan enquiries.Achieve the monthly individual and company completion targets.Ensure the broker and client receive a 'best in class' service every timeWork closely with underwriting to ensure HTB originates and maintains a quality loan portfolio.Discuss and process loans with borrowers direct if requiredProvide excellent customer service What We're Looking For
    Qualifications/Experience
    Demonstrable experience in a lending environmentExperience in structuring lending proposals desirableTypically have experience in a customer service environmentIntermediate level skills in Microsoft Word and Excel are essential.
