    {"@context":"http:\/\/schema.org\/","@type":"JobPosting","title":"Head of Marketing (12 month FTC)","description":"\nWho we are and what we do\nA repeat recipient of the Publisher of the Year award, Little, Brown Book Group is the largest division within Hachette, and one of the most successful and dynamic publishers in the UK.\nWe pride ourselves on quality and diversity: across our thirteen imprints, you won’t find a wider range of titles anywhere in publishing.\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to work in our award-winning marketing team and use your passion and expertise to get our books into the hands of readers, booksellers and influencers. \nWhat you'll be doing\nReporting to the Deputy Marketing Director - Commercial, as Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for leading, implementing and measuring eye-catching and sales-focused campaigns for commercial fiction and non-fiction titles. \nWith a combination of creativity and market awareness, your campaigns will enthuse booksellers, engage readers and drive sales for some of the industry’s best-loved author brands and breakout voices.  \nYou’ll be required to confidently present plans to colleagues in-house and externally to authors and agents, pitch for major new acquisitions, regularly update key stakeholders on progress, work closely with our international teams, and collaboratively share insights and ideas with the wider team.\nWho we are looking for\nThis role requires a passionate, creative and driven book marketer to lead on campaigns and strategy for a range of Little, Brown’s key launches.  \nYou will have demonstrable experience and a proven track record of devising industry-leading marketing campaigns across fiction and non-fiction that result in sales. An interest in commercial publishing, as well as experience leading campaigns for author brands and celebrity non-fiction is desired. \nThe ideal candidate will be social media savvy, have a honed eye for design, a B2C expert, a talent for copywriting and proven experience putting creativity and innovation at the heart of their work.\nThe ability to multi-task, work calmly under pressure and be a strong team player are also vital.
