Salary: £14.50 - £16.00 per hour Contract: Temporary / Casual The Role: GTR Recruitment is currently seeking reliable 7.5T and Class 2 drivers for upcoming temporary and casual contracts across Leicestershire. We have a specific requirement for a 1-week 7.5T cover for a high-end engineering client in July, with ongoing work available for the right candidates. this isnt an advert for 5/6 days a week every week this is for a casual driver who doesnt want the pressure of full time work but could do a few weeks here and there to top up the coffers. You tell us when you want to work, and we match you to the gaps in our clients' schedules. Clean, Professional Work: Our current July requirement is for a high-end engineering firm. This is clean work, usually moving specialized equipment or materials—no high-volume multi-drop or "courier style" madness. Technical Respect: We are a training school first, not just a call centre. We understand tacho laws, load security, and vehicle maintenance. We won’t ask you to "fudge" a manual entry or drive a sub-standard vehicle. Transparent "All-In" Pay: No umbrella company fees or hidden deductions. We follow the FWA Brief 91 full-cost model. What we agree on as your rate is what you get. No Agency Games: We are a technical training provider first. We understand the vehicles and the regulations. Requirements: Valid UK Category C or C1 License.
