The Role We’re looking for an experienced General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our truckstop. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll manage multiple services including the restaurant, forecourt, retail, and site facilities. You’ll inspire your team, deliver excellent customer service, and ensure the site runs efficiently and safely while driving commercial success. Key Responsibilities: Operations Manager: Oversee all areas including forecourt, parking, truck wash, showers, restaurant, and retail. Due to the nature of the locations of our collections there will be a high degree of rural driving. Planning routes on a day to day basis. Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability. Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met. Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices. Essential Skills and Qualifications Must hold a UK Class 2 C License. Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card. Experience of working with vacuum tankers and wastewater is advantageous but full training will be given. Excellent organisation skills and use to working to deadlines. Be passionate about providing excellent customer service. Confident, polite and a team player.
