    Joining the team as a Warehouse Shift Manager, you will be responsible for managing the warehouse teams whilst motivating employees.  Ensuring all aspects of Health & Safety within the Warehouse are maintained and product is picked and dispatched to the highest standard in order to meet set KPI’s.Working hours: Sunday to Thursdays or Monday to Friday, 22.00-06.00 Key Duties of a Warehouse Shift Manager:Leading a team of Team Leaders and General Warehouse Operatives in their daily workload.Ensuring that orders are picked, marshalled, unloaded and loaded in line with Customer specifications.Carry out daily inspections of the work place.Complete and Carry out Personal Development Plans for all members of their team.Ensure that a high standard of Health & Safety is adhered within the working environment.Communicating regularly with Team Leaders/Senior Managers regarding any issues that may arise within the warehouse.Manage the team’s performance in line with KPI’s as required.Adhere to Hygiene policy ensuring that the companies waste management program is adhered too and that we remain BRC compliant.Ensure that is adequate support for the picking, marshalling, cleaning, goods-in, pallet checking teams at all times.
    Qualifications

    Previous warehouse operational experience.Experience of managing, supporting and motivating a large teamProven experience of all aspects of people management including probationary, attendance, performance and disciplinary matters.Experience of managing teams and prioritising a tight and challenging workloadKnowledge and experience of safe working practice inclusive of all Health and Safety elements.Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressureGood IT skills, Microsoft packages and WMS.Previous 3PL experience is highly advantageous.

    We are currently seeking a Transport Planner to join our Transport team at our Oldham site on a full time permanent basis!Salary: £31,000 - £33,000 per annum.Working hours: 4 on 4 off, 6am-6pm.As a Transport Planner you will oversee the day to day planning of the transport operation. A highly motivated and driven individual, you will be experienced at working in a busy transport department, able to deal with day to day challenges and provide cost effective solutions to the customer. Key Duties of a Transport Planner:Subcontracting and planning orders out of multiple warehouse facilities and manufacturing sites across the UK.Planning daily workload for a fleet: vehicles based on and off site.Dealing with queries and issues by telephone, fax and email from our customers, sub-contract hauliers and warehousing sites. Liaising with Traffic and Administration teams to ensure the highest standards of performance are maintained at all times.Maintaining, creating and updating spreadsheets and databases for customer reports.Reporting problems and dealing with issues and any queries that arise.Support the fleet and driver training team as and when required.Complete pre and post de-brief for all driver shifts.Deliver effective, professional and timely internal and external communications.
