Job Description Were thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Compliance SHEQ Manager to join our team in Harworth . In this pivotal role at an upper-tier COMAH site, youll lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of all compliance programmes, ensuring we meetand exceedlegal and company standards across Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) and site facilities. Youll be a key driver of our safety first culture, using your expertise to embed risk-based decision-making across the site. Through effective training, coaching and hands-on leadership, youll inspire teams to apply SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) principles in everything they do. Key responsibilities of the Compliance SHEQ Manager: Deliver a compliant Safety, Environmental and Facilities Management System for site, developing any necessary risk assessments, inspection schedules, control plans and associated documentation. Advise the site management team on effective strategies and controls to reduce and mitigate the health, safety and environmental impacts and risks arising from the materials, equipment and processes utilized on site, implementing the necessary control programs when within remit of the role. With support from the regional H&S team, ensure the site is compliant as a COMAH operator and takes all measures necessary to prevent a major accident, ensuring a credible demonstration of this to the Competent Authorities. Develop and implement programs that ensure the site and all plant and machinery are safe to use and legally compliant, facilitating inspection, servicing and repairs as necessary. Ensure effective and timely accident/incident investigations, contributing specialist knowledge, advice and guidance to Operational Managers where necessary. Maintain effective contractor management and permit to work programs, ensuring activities are supervised and delivered by competent persons using controlled and risk-mitigated processes. Ensure effective employee consultation, including a Safety Committee and a variety of appropriate mediums to disseminate information on safety and environmental matters and to implement programmes that promote a positive safety culture. Support the design and delivery of a comprehensive programme of Safety Training, bespoke to the needs of individual job roles working in partnership with Operational Managers. Conduct and/or host inspections and audits aligned to the relevant standards, liaising with the Management Team on requirements, outputs, monitoring of improvements and evaluating ongoing compliance using relevant regulatory and company policy, as the basis for content/measurement. Produce accurate and relevant KPIs to measure performance levels against agreed targets sharing data with Depot/Functional Management teams, Statutory Authorities and Customers as agreed and as appropriate Utilise data to drive performance improvement and consistent delivery of Policy/Practice across the site analysing accident/ incident and other measures to contribute to continuous improvement plans. Qualifications Minimum NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent Educated to A-level standard or equivalent Detailed knowledge of risk management frameworks and methodologies. Comprehensive knowledge of occupational health safety and environmental requirements Practical understanding of equipment and facilities management Experienced in presenting to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams Proficient in digital tools and systems Proactive, decisive and pragmatic Ability to drive/influence culture in a dynamic working environment. Job Description Were looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our Great Bear team in Minworth,This is a great opportunity to join a busy 24-hour transport operation supporting FMCG, supermarket RDC, cash and carry, and warehousing deliveries. We are recruiting day shift HGV Class 1 drivers working on a 4 on 4 off working pattern. The operation runs around the clock, so we are looking for drivers who can be flexible with start times and are confident working in a fast-paced transport environment. If you take pride in safe driving, reliable service and professional customer delivery standards, wed love to hear from you. Shift patterns available 4 on 4 off Days Start times vary due to the nature of the operation, with day drivers generally starting between early morning and late morning Drivers are allocated a planned start time, with some flexibility required around operational needs. We have increased our pay rates , with hourly rates now starting at £16.49 plus shift supplements for working between 18:00 - 06:00 What youll be doing Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises. Complete palletised general haulage deliveries to Regional Distribution Centres, with most deliveries completed as backdoor tip. Support occasional driver tipping or multi-drop deliveries depending on customer demand. Occasional Night out may be required Report to the Transport team at the start of each shift and communicate any delays, delivery issues or load discrepancies promptly. Complete all paperwork accurately and ensure PODs are signed and returned to the Transport Office. Follow company rules and procedures, including health, safety and hygiene standards. Manage your working time in line with the Road Transport Directive and adhere to tachograph rules and regulations. Complete daily vehicle checks in line with company procedure and report defects correctly. Take responsibility for the unit and trailer, including temperature checks where required. Maintain a high standard of behaviour, appearance and customer service at all times. Qualifications What were looking for Valid C+E Licence. Minimum 12 months HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred No more than 6 points on your licence and no DD or DR code convictions. Current valid DCPC and Tachograph cards. Good understanding of Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive legislation. Ability to complete vehicle checks and report defects correctly. Commitment to on-site health and safety requirements. Excellent communication skills and a professional approach.
