    On behalf of our client, Grand River Personnel is recruiting experienced candidates with great attitudes for an open vacancy as a Grinder/Polisher in Cambridge. Selected candidates should have a positive attitude, great attention to detail, and a desire to work in the metal fabrication industry. This is a Full-time, ongoing position from Monday to Friday to start ASAP. Hours of work: Monday – Thursday: 7:am – 3:, Friday: 7:-2:pm Pay Rate: $ – $/hr (dependent on experience) + 4% vacation pay added to each cheque weekly Responsibilities: Polishing, grinding, deburring, sanding high-end automotive parts of excess welds, rust and scale Operation of spot welder, shear, panel saw and friction saw Inspect all parts before and after polishing Assembly of parts and small crates for shipment Use of hand and power tools Communicate any problems to the supervisor in a timely manner Other duties as assigned Requirements: PPE to be worn – Facial Respirator (no facial hair permitted), safety glasses, and long pants Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for inconsistencies Reliable, punctual and dependable Clean work areas and equipment Communication of reporting errors and any unsafe working conditions to Supervisor Ability to communicate effectively in English CSA Approved Footwear Other duties as assigned Read Less
