We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Estimator to join our Belfast team, playing a key role in delivering hassle‑free environments for clients and supporting engineers with expertise.
    Reporting to the Contracts Director, we are looking for a professional who can bring proven knowledge of estimating practices, commercial awareness, and the ability to influence outcomes across complex contracts. Location: Belfast Hours Per Week: Monday - Friday, 40 Hours Job Type: Permanent / Full Time Benefits: Car Allowance / Up to 36 days paid annual leave / Excellent Company Pension / Free Life Assurance – 6 times annual salary / Training and Development / Discounted Private Health Care Scheme / Discounted Gym Membership The individual will be based in Belfast, with occasional travel required across Ireland and the UK. The successful applicant must demonstrate experience in the following areas: Managing diverse contracts across both Public and Private sectors throughout the UK and Ireland. Conducting site surveys to assess building services and evaluate tender requirements. Engaging with clients and stakeholders to identify service needs and develop cost‑effective, planned and reactive maintenance strategies. Preparing accurate cost estimates by inputting labour resources, materials, and specialist contractor prices into the Estimating Programme. Developing bid strategies in collaboration with the business development team to optimise contract award success. Participating in tender finalisation meetings to evaluate and refine proposals. Supporting procurement and operations teams during contract mobilisation. Building comprehensive market knowledge, including competitor analysis and delivery strategy options.     About You Essential Criteria: Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in either Mechanical, HVAC or Electrical Services trades and with a minimum of two years’ experience in an estimation role post trade qualification or Building Services qualification HNC/HND with a minimum of two years’ experience in an estimating role. Demonstrate strong communication and technical skills. Experience working with a computer-based cost management system, as well as proficient in the use of Microsoft excel & Word. The ability to positively engage with clients to gain an understanding of their current delivery model with a view to tailoring our bid to ensure best strategic delivery, value for money and first best in class service. Wide experience in the hard services industry, including mechanical, electrical, building fabric and specialist maintenance  Desirable Criteria: Comprehensive understanding of the marketplace, competitors and potential growth opportunities. Experience estimating Planned & Reactive maintenance contracts. Experience in minor maintenance project works. Experience in new energy efficient low carbon technologies. Previous experience and knowledge of NEC3, NEC4, JCT & GC Works contracts Experience delivering maintenance services including Mechanical, Electrical and other specialist services would be advantageous e.g., catering, air conditioning, gas etc. Read Less

    Job Summary
    We are looking for an experienced Construction Site Logistics Manager for a multi-million-pound project based in Manchester. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for coordinating the movement of people, materials, and equipment on-site at all times. You will lead a small team of key operatives, ensuring that all deliveries are planned and executed in line with the construction programme.

    Job Description:
    The Logistics Manager shall:
    · Organise and execute the site setup according to the agreed site Logistics Plan and Emergency plan at the company, standard level: protection of existent finished surfaces, site safety signage and notice boards, safety routes, fire points, PPE.
    · Manage a team of operatives: a traffic marshal, a goods lift driver , a welfare man and labourers.
    · Co-ordinate with Defence security, planning deliveries in time with our construction programme.
    · Manage the site welfare facilities.
    · Organise and manage our offsite loading bay.
    · Responsible with waste management, segregation of waste on site and waste collections.
    · Responsible with movement of plant and materials from drop-off point in loading bay to designated areas on site.
    · Create a Logistics H&S folder with weekly inspections of hired electrical or mechanical equipment, inspections
    of fire points, daily briefings to operatives, inspections of temporary works on site, operative’s allocation sheets, RAMS.
    · Assist in weekly project team meetings to identify and resolve the logistics issues due to continuing physical site changes.
    · Responsible with communicating and implementing the site rules to all operatives on site.
    · Responsible with managing the emergency situations on site: accident, fire, power cut.

    Essential Criteria 
    Technical Competencies
    · CITB SMSTS certification 
    · Valid First Aid qualification 
    · CSCS card 
    · Full UK Driving Licence

    · Strong planning and prioritisation skills
    · Effective people management and leadership abilities
    · High level of safety awareness and commitment to safe working practices
    · Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

    Desirable Competencies
    · Previous experience on multi-million-pound projects
    · Knowledge of temporary works inspections and RAMS preparation
