    YOUR IMPACT
    The Asset & Wealth Management Strategic Transformation Office is a recently established entity tasked with overseeing comprehensive large-scale transformations. Our primary objectives are to enhance scalability, drive revenue growth, improve client experience, and elevate controls to optimize our operating platform. This group comprises of four critical functions, including (1) Product Management & Design, (2) Change Management, (3) Regulatory Management, and (4) Monitoring & Testing.
    The AWM Regulatory Management team manages the regulatory strategy and roadmap for the AWM business globally. As the key business partner for regulatory matters, the team is responsible for: 1) Regulatory Solutions; assessing the impact of regulations on business activities and 2) Regulatory Controls; ensuring a robust control framework is in place to evidence compliance.
    Regulatory Solutions represent the views of the business on regulatory change governance forums and act as co-sponsors of new regulations. The team is responsible for performing detailed assessments on new regulations, identifying the impact on existing AWM capabilities and supporting the design of appropriate solutions to deliver regulatory requirements. The team also supports the launch of new products, funds or trading activity by advising on current live and new upcoming regulatory considerations.
    How You Will Fulfill Your Potential
    Build a deep understanding of the Asset and Wealth Management business through analyzing the applicability and impact of regulatory policies and rules to each business area (new regulations and new business activities) Simplify complex problems (regulatory challenges) by collaborating with the team, key stakeholders, and regulatory experts within the firm Exert influence and impact, to drive business engagement and lead strategic cross divisional discussions on regulatory change matters Deploy appropriate methodologies and governance tools, to drive the timely delivery of analysis and agreed solution approach (operational and technology driven) Build strong senior stakeholder relationships that will be required when performing complex analysis across multiple businesses
    Skills & Experience We’re Looking For
    Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in management consulting or related field in financial services with active involvement in new regulation assessments and implementations Understanding of asset management products (closed/open funds, traditional and alternatives products), and the wider asset management operating model and ecosystems Demonstrated proficiency in working as part of business or regulatory function owning the regulatory strategy, roadmap, analysis and interpretation of new regulations for the business Strategic mindset with strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills to provide creative and innovative solutions Strong project management skills including definition of business case and scope, articulation of issues, challenges, risks, dependencies and solutions Strong communication and relationship-building skills with ability to influence all levels of staff to drive change Proven track record of owning, designing and executing solutions for complex problems Experience in Reg product and platform management is preferable Multi-task and can manage and advance multiple projects simultaneously Proficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint, and Excel, with an ability to learn new tools quickly

    Functional Responsibilities
    Provide advice on how to conduct the firm’s business in a manner that complies with the comprehensive array of rules, regulations and policies applicable to our business Identify Compliance risk associated with business processes and practices including review and potential enhancements of existing controls Review and approval of marketing materials prepared for distribution to clients Perform thematic forensic reviews Review of errors and customer complaints Support internal and external audit preparation work Provide training on applicable compliance requirements Identify, review and implementation of new regulations by partnering with Legal, Business Personnel, Compliance Officers and other stakeholders Participation in various global and region specific strategic projects to provide comprehensive Compliance inputs and drive Compliance owned deliverables As needed, support development and analysis of existing and new policies, standards and processes to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and requirements Advise, challenge and influence stakeholders teams as required in relation to regulations, policies and reputational risk
    Basic Qualifications

    Minimum of 6 years of experience as a compliance officer, in a risk management role, ideally with a nexus to Private Wealth. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, Economics, Finance or Master’s degree or MBA a plus, but not required Detailed Knowledge of UK regulatory environment and FCA rules Any knowledge of other European or international regulatory regimes an advantage Inquisitive and proactive in identifying risks and proposing solutions. CAMPUS RECRUITING The Campus Recruiting team identifies, attracts, and recruits undergraduates and experienced professionals to the firm. The team also manages relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a high calibre, diverse and robust candidate pipeline for both campus and experienced hire recruiting. Our graduate recruiting team sources strong and diverse talent for our global internship programme and full-time campus classes through relationship building with key university stakeholders and high-impact campus events. RESPONSIBILITIES End to end project management of key recruitment pipelines across our EMEA offices, including attraction, hiring processes and ongoing candidate management Build relationships with key recruiting contacts and senior stakeholders within the business and partner with them on recruiting strategies and business plans Manage planning and execution of multiple internship programmes across EMEA throughout the year to ensure an excellent experience for the interns and to ensure the business is building a full-time talent pipeline Manage interview and offer process for candidates applying for aligned locations / programmes Ensure a consistent, structured process is followed and that interviewers are suitably trained to perform their role Monitor and help drive the “sell” process for all candidates once an offer has been extended  Partner with the business on headcount and business planning to ensure hiring needs are met across business lines Project manage, host and attend campus events across schools in multiple countries (. information sessions, workshops, case studies, presentations Work with the business to highlight strong candidates on campus and ultimately develop and coach them throughout the process  Build relationships at key university career services and student societies to ensure GS is always represented in a positive and professional way Work with team members from the cross-divisional recruiting team on projects such as off-cycle intern programming, intern performance review processes and process improvement ideas Maintain and produce reports analysing key recruitment metrics and KPIs  Acquire expertise in global recruiting technology platforms Keep abreast of trends in recruitment, market intelligence and competitor benchmarking 
    SKILLS / EXPERIENCE 

    REQUIRED  Functional expertise: Minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience in a campus or early careers recruitment role, with a significant portion dedicated to recruiting for Investment Banking or a closely related financial services division. Partnering with clients and colleagues: Solid communication and relationship management skills; client-facing and credible, with proven ability to influence and advise senior Investment Banking stakeholders; strong negotiation skills; ability to develop robust internal and external relationships; ability to manage diverse stakeholders and to build networks quickly within a fast-paced financial environment. Results-orientated: Ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work delivered to clients. Strong project management skills; ability to handle multiple priorities and project plan on an annual basis. Strong analytical and data skills. Broad and deep knowledge of the financial services industry, with a particular emphasis on the Investment Banking Division's structure, roles, and competitive landscape.
