Gloucester City Homes (GCH) is looking for a Property Maintenance Operative Apprentice to join our PropertyCare team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced tradespeople, gain practical experience across multiple trades, and complete a Level 2 Property Maintenance Operative Apprenticeship . Whether you've already spent time using tools at school, college or at home, or you're simply looking for a career where you can learn practical skills and see the results of your work every day, we'd love to hear from you. You'll help maintain and improve customers' homes, learning skills in areas such as carpentry, plumbing, plastering, decorating and general property maintenance. Working in both occupied and empty properties, you'll develop the knowledge, confidence and experience needed to build a successful career in the industry. Hewmar House is designed to support young people aged 18-25 at risk of homelessness and rough sleeping. After opening the service in February 2025, it has gone from strength-to-strength, and we are incredibly proud of the support that we are able to offer to young people in need. Were now seeking a Specialist Support Worker, which is a key role within the service in providing effective, one-to-one, intensive, person-centred support to the young people that live in Hewmar House. Within the role, youll use a range of tools and techniques and deliver a flexible and inclusive support package to build confidence and independence. Working closely with the customers, youll develop individual support plans and build trust and confidence to ensure the agreed plans are monitored regularly and the progress is tracked, recorded and reported as part of the success outcomes.
