    The Role & Candidate:
    Glanua Ltd is a progressive organisation in the water and wastewater industry. Due to continued success in the Business, the company is expanding with several dynamic and exciting roles. They are looking to recruit BIM Coordinator to work on ample-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The roles will be site-based and located in Sheffield.
    The BIM coordinator's primary focus is coordinating BIM deliverables to ensure the successful delivery of our client requirements throughout all project phases. The role will primarily be office-based but will require site visits occasionally to report on the project's progress & verify that information requirements are being captured and linked to the project Information Model. 
    The successful candidate will work within the Glanua digital delivery team to consistently achieve quality deliverables across our project portfolio. They must monitor the quality of information being shared on project CDE, confirm that all deliverables comply with the BEP&EIR to ensure they align with Glanua' s digital delivery strategy and report on non-conformance, offering corrective guidance to the project team.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
    The main duties and responsibilities of the BIM Coordinator are outlined as follows:
    During the detailed design phase, ensure models are developed in line with the project BEP and Clients' EIR. They will monitor the development of information through the design stage and into construction, continually coordinating multi-discipline 3D models, ensuring the potential for onsite clashes and rework are removed before commencement on site.  
    During Design stage
    Work as part of a team in delivering one or more projects at any time, embracing the ethos of a "one team" culture.Develop multi-discipline models and drawings using Autodesk Revit in compliance with project-specific requirements.Assist in the production of Bespoke Revit families. Manage model warnings and ensure data is structured correctly within the model to allow data extraction. Check model coordination throughout all phases of the project. Track clashes and communicate the same to the Project design lead through accurate reporting.Ensure Information exchange formats are consistent and delivered on the CDE - Revit, DWG, IFC, PDF, NWC & NWD.  Maintain project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP) in response to client Exchange Information Requirements (EIR). Ensure TIDPs, MIDPs & associated Responsibility Matrix are in place at the start of each project.Manage the project CDE to ensure the folder structure, workflows, reviews and user permissions are correctly aligned to our company sop.  Ensure standard libraries are in place at the commencement of each project and available to all team members. Ensure shared resource information is available to the relevant stakeholders on the CDE at the commencement of each project. Work with Glanua Design, Contract & Project Managers and our consultant design leads to ensure all information is submitted through the CDE. Communicate with Surveyors to ensure on-site control before starting the construction stage. Cross-check all models and confirm the accuracy of model coordinates to the site coordinate system.  Coordinate digital deliverables to support a complete and structured digital handover, ensuring asset information is captured accurately and aligned with client requirements.During construction stageEnsure constant communication between the office and site is maintained.Ensure all site activity is always captured and made available on the CDE.  Ensure the model matches site progress and is modified to suit any site changes. Carry out Point cloud surveys capturing site progress. Update the BIM model with captured as-built information. Collect equipment data for input to the model elements. Confirm that below-ground data is being recorded and cross-checked against the model. Ensure the project MIDP is aligned with the construction programme and provides an authentic look ahead for upcoming site works.Ensure the information requirements of the client asset management system are being recorded and linked to the BIM. Ensure the O&M and Safety files are continually updated as the project is delivered.Ensure structured digital handover is achieved by coordinating as-built models, client asset data requirements, and documentation, validating completeness and alignment to our clients process before submitting for handover. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
    The prior knowledge, skills and experience required of the BIM Coordinator are outlined as follows:
    3rd level qualification in either Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical or Construction Management or a proven technical background are essential. Advanced skills in any/all of the following are preferable AutoCAD Civil 3D, Autodesk Revit or Plant 3D, Synchro 4D and Navisworks. Experience in MS Excel, Power Bi, Dynamo and BIM360 are desired but not essential as training can be provided. Must be an enthusiastic, motivated self-starter dedicated to learning and advancing their career in the Digital Engineering space. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.Enjoy working both individually and as part of a multi-discipline team essential.Understanding how to communicate potential coordination issues to the design leads is essential. Understanding the relevant BIM standards (ISO19650 or previously PAS1192) is desired but not essential.Previous experience in coordinating handover documentation is desirable.
