Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair heating systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks related to heating system installation and maintenance.
Perform plumbing tasks as required, including the installation of pipes and fittings.
Conduct welding operations for system assembly or repairs when necessary.
Carry out mechanical inspections and troubleshoot issues within heating systems.
Execute carpentry work related to the installation of heating units or associated structures.
Perform heavy lifting as needed during the installation or removal of equipment.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Drive commercial vehicles to transport equipment and materials to job sites as required.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot heating systems effectively.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
Experience with plumbing tasks is advantageous.
Familiarity with carpentry techniques is beneficial.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
A valid commercial driving licence is desirable for transporting equipment.
