    GI Pro are recruiting for a CNC Programmer for our precision engineering client based in Ripley, Derby. The role will involve programming, setting and operating a variety of machines including a 5-axis Mill-Turn machine.

    The role:
    * You will be programming, setting and operating 5-axis Mill-Turn machines
    * Using controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain and Mazatrol
    * Carrying out self-inspection of work to ensure quality
    * Working with materials such a nickel, titanium, aluminium and steel
    * Working to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
    * Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

    Person Specification:
    * CNC Programming experience is essential
    * Ideally worked with multiple control systems
    * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
    * Ideally be apprentice trained, time-served or hold a relevant qualification

    The Role:
    As CNC Production Supervisor, you'll play a key role in making sure the department is running smoothly. You'll be hands-on in leading a team of operators, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and housekeeping.

    Your responsibilities will include:
    * Supervising and supporting CNC operators
    * Planning the workload and leading shift briefings
    * Monitoring the machine output and efficiency
    * Supporting recruitment and onboarding new staff
    * Driving a strong safety culture and maintaining 5S/housekeeping standards
    * Coordinating with the maintenance team to keep machinery in top condition


    We're looking for a proactive and organised leader with:
    * Strong background within a CNC machining environment

    * Experience in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
    * Strong ability to work towards and meet key production targets under tight deadlines.
