    This position is to assist the smooth running of the site investigation sector through close co-ordination of operations with the other team members. The role will be both office and site based. The main working location is Hemel Hempstead, but regular travelling around the UK (mainly South East) will be necessary, although not usually working away from home this may be required. This is a full time post working 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.The management of this position would come under the Warehouse Supervisor and the umbrella of the Geosciences Department. In addition, to these functions employees are required to carry out such other duties as may be reasonably required by the Company.All necessary training and equipment for the person to undertake their role will be provided by RSK.Responsibilities:RSK operates its business within the framework of a documented management system. The management system contains policy statements, procedures, guidance and other information on administration, environmental protection, health & safety, quality management and on the carrying out of project-related tasks. All employees are required to work to the requirements of the management system and to participate in its underlying principle of seeking continuous improvements in the performance of the Company.The management system is accessible to all employees through the RSK Intranet.The specific tasks are as follows:Assisting the Warehouse Supervisor.Maintaining a clean working environment within the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping general tidying.Manual handling including restocking materials on shelves, including bags up to 25kg, sample storage and disposal.Assisting in loading and unloading site vehicles.Assist site works as and when necessary, including delivery and collection of materials/equipment/plant.Assisting the Warehouse Supervisor with equipment maintenance, repair and calibration.Assisting the Site Works Co-ordinator with vehicle checks.Person specification:Organised and motivated self starterThis role will require you to be physically activeStrong attention to detailGood time keepingFull UK driving licence (manual transmission).
